Excellent family owned halal dining place with great Mediterranean food choices. Lots of grocery items and take-home baked goods. The inside is dark and not very attractive (messy decor with stains on the ceiling tiles). We love it there and have gone back often. The owner truly cares that his customers get taken care of. Good baba ganoush and plenty of pita bread with the hummus.

I just went to lunch here with my brother and husband. I don’t have enough positive adjectives to use for how great this place is. It’s been a long time since moving from California that I have eaten somewhere that I felt was exciting. Until now. I got the lamb chops and the other two got the combination plate. The food was fresh, delicious, and tasted homemade. The service was great. We were given free servings of rice pudding as well. I highly recommend this place and will be coming here everytime we are in town. The grocery part has a ton of things to grab too.

Visited this place on the second day of opening and the food was amazing. Loved the customer service and the vibe. The food has an authentic homemade test wish was perfect. If you like Mediterranean food this place is definitely the go to place in Iowa City if not the only place. They have a plenty of variety to choose from the salad, entree and dessert. One last don’t forget to get have your tea !!!
