Rosa was so warm, welcoming and helpful when making choices. This was our first visit here. We had beef shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma bowl. Lentils and dessert. All the food was wonderfully tasty and filling. We loved everything! Rice pudding was new for us and delicious! Love the art on display too!

I love their food. Never ever have I been disappointed when I ate my chicken shawarma. If fact, it is my go to order. However, the reason I am rating this 3 stars instead of 5 is due to the business practice of the owners. They steal tips from employees when people tip with their debit cards. Employees are only able to get cash tips. I find this unethical, and learned this the hard way when I tipped the employee 15% on my debit card just to find out they wouldn’t be getting it.

Absolutely filthy. There isn’t a shred of fresh food in the joint. When she opened the hot section of food, you could tell a lot of it was a day or two old. Rice was crusting around the edges, tahini and hummus near hot food. Then all the “fresh” salads looked like they had sat out for overnight. One of my children got very sick from the garlic sauce or hummus. None of it is appetizing

Tabooli on Waverly has the best mediterranean cuisine in Lansing, the staff is extremely kind and generous. The falafel is fried fresh and the beef shawarma is a family favorite. We will be back again and again.
