We were able to find parking right in front of the restaurant which really worked out for us. Otherwise parking will be an issue. The restaurant is small and gets filled up relatively quickly. They do reservations.

Awesome locally owned Ethiopian food. Owners are friendly, food was hearty and delicious, restaurant atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Neighborhood is just somewhat walkable but looking forward to coming back

My wife and I have eaten at Ethiopian restaurants in Miami, Washington D.C. and New York City. It has impressed us how consistent all of these restaurants have been at providing delicious fresh-tasting food! We always order veggie platters and did the same here at Tabor. Everything was fantastic. If I had to pick my absolute favorite of the nine different veggie options we ordered, I would probably go with the beets but that’s only if I was forced to pick one, they were really all delicious! The service was also great despite the restaurant being quite busy on a Friday night. We will be here in Baltimore until August and may try to go back once a week 🙂

Amazing atmosphere and kind/helpful staff. To drink we ordered the honey wine which was very sweet and delicious. For the meal we shared the veggie combo which was a portion of everything on the veggie menu. The potatoes were outstanding along with all of the lentil dishes! Everything is extremely affordable with plenty of vegetarian options that could suit anyone’s appetite. Over all me and my friend had an amazing time and would recommend to anyone wanting to try an Ethiopian place! Tabor Ethiopian Restaurant ❤️❤️❤️

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and it was SO good. Everything had distinct and amazing flavor. Our sever was super sweet and brought us more injera (the spongy bread) when we needed it. Such a great dinner for a pretty decent price. Very satisfied customer

The food was delicious! Two other friends and I got the Baltimore platter, which is meant for two but it filled the three of us up. The service is also good, and the restaurant has a nice vibe.

First time having Ethiopian food. Definitely an interesting experience! Instead of utensils, you use the injera to pick up the toppings. I’m not sure what it’s supposed to taste like but I imagined it being more spiced and aromatic. It was okay. Maybe I should try it again elsewhere, but I’m not a huge fan. We also got sambusas to go. Those were a lot better as far as flavor goes. Service was very warm too.
