This is a newer restaurant in this town, they have had them in a near by town for years, but this is the first time the franchise has put one in Bastrop and I believe it is doing well. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I can tell you the 6 layer dip that feeds 2, isn’t lying, it was alot of dip and the tacos are always good. Give it a try for sure if you’re passing through or live here, or like is visiting family there.

Love the food but service has been lackluster to say the least at the Bastrop location since opening. Multiple tiny errors over multiple visits hardly worth mentioning. On May 16th I went around 8:30 at night, ordered 2 beef tacos for myself, 2 chicken tacos for my son, Bandido Salad for my wife, along with some cinnamon crisps and queso and chips. Didn’t check the bag before getting home which is my fault, but I was given my two beef tacos (which I had to share with my son), no chicken tacos for my son, no bandido salad for my wife, and a few bag of stale cinnamon crisps to go with our queso, no regular chips though! Great deal for $50.

I don’t think I’ve ever had taco meat that tasted like absolutely nothing before. Super burrito, tastes like beans and nothing else. I don’t even know what to say about that, it’s like when I had Covid and couldn’t taste anything (which I don’t have Covid and I can taste things just fine).
