As others have said because the truck stop owns this TB it’s high priced and yes the counters are dirty here too. The volcano menu was worth it but prepare yourself to go broke $5 for the burrito and $3.49 for the taco! Insanly high priced.

Do yourself a favor and stop at the loves about 10ish miles east of here and get you some Wendy’s or if you are not a truck driver then Google where the nexr taco bell is. They are price gouging here. $20 for a chalupa combo! I could get 2 of them and a few other things on the side at any other taco bell. Also everything else looked like they were 2x as much.

Ordered food then asked for my money back after seeing dirty counters , they were clearly angry at me and proceeded to tell me they got good grades for the place and that they were busy as I was the only person standing in line. They were politely angry that I dare say anything. Won’t be coming back to this place . I worked in a much busier place than this but always managed to keep a clean food area . No excuse for this.

Another example of price gouging at the truck stop. Most people don’t notice. After spending $13 on a $5 box with 2 $1 menu items I noticed. Here is a pic if your still not convinced your paying almost 3x more at this location. Gotta love TA’ Truck Stops nationwide for their high prices. In case you didn’t know. Loves is the only large truck stop franchise that doesn’t gouge their customers at the restraunt or charge for parking. Knowledge is power.
