No counter service, restrooms or service for people in oversized vehicles. – Let’s be honest, we don’t expect fantastic service from Taco Bell, but this location was exceptional in its incompetence and lack of service. I placed an on-line order for in-store pickup. When I got there, they had a sign on the door that the lobby is closed “due to staffing issues” and that for service you would have to go through the drive through. Well, I did in-store pickup because I needed to use their restroom, but with the lobby closed that was impossible. So then I went through the drive through and the young lady who was working the the intercom said that my order wasn’t in the system yet and that I would need to leave the line and come back in 5-10 minutes. I briefly argued with her and then noticed that the app showed my order as being ready for pick-up. When I pointed that out to her, she magically found the order. Then when I got to the window, there were so many people back there, they were tripping over each other. They were literally bumping into each other trying to get orders ready. There were definitely enough people to open the lobby, and if they had it would have alleviated a lot of congestion through the drive through. Instead they are using “staffing” as an excuse to reduce service to customers. Anyone with a large vehicle should beware. If I had my truck instead of my wife’s mini-van, I wouldn’t have fit through the drive through.

It doesn’t do any good to put in a order for pickup inside when the inside is always closed and you still have to wait 30 minutes in line. Then went to get to the window to pick up your order it wasn’t even going to tell me that they were out of fries they just hand him on my back I looked in said there’s no fries and they said oh we’re out contact customer service for a refund that was on Friday and here it is Tuesday sent customer service a message and they still haven’t replied shaking my head.

I was driving to Charlotte NC and decided to take a dinner break & came across Troutville Taco Bell on the highway. After placing a mobile order I did not get the food for 45 minutes. After 15 minutes when I inquired, one of the employee said that they were really backed up. So I waited another 30 minutes. 5 other orders after mine were all done & picked up. I went again to inquire. The order was already made & was sitting behind the counter which I had observed -was put there 20 minutes ago. I had also gotten a notification via the text message. All the employees had seen me waiting- not one of them came to ask me. The women on the shift seemed to be the manager. Once I got the order I found out everything was cold. I was in no mood to complain. Just wanted to get going. One item was missing and one made incorrectly. And I went to tell her that there were mistakes on the order she did not like to hear that and made a face. She did not want to remake me the wrong order of Chili verde fries she said “I can give you a few fries on a container and you can put that burrito on the container of fries and eat it that way. It is exactly the same thing !“ Really ??!!! She claimed she was right by saying that from her side she received the order with a chili verde fries burrito & I was stunned to hear something like this. Left Taco Bell after one & a half hour. Very poor service, accuracy & management.

We went here because Hershberger Road isn’t any better. We ordered breakfast at 8:50 and was told to pull forward. We waited 30 minutes and when we approached them about the wait back at the window after waiting they seemed confused on how this happened and blamed it on us stating that it was our fault because we didn’t park in the handicap parking spot in the front of the building but instead pulled off to the side to wait in a different parking spot….after that, it took another 15 minutes for them to finally bring us our food. We waited almost an hour for 4 items with no one else in line or in the parking lot…. Not to mention hearing them yelling and going off to each other at the window prior to telling us to pull up the first time. They forgot about our order and then proceeded to blame us. Oh and to top that off our order was wrong.

Placed a mobile order tonight and got not only horrible service but messed up food too. I have food allergies and can not eat meat or dairy. Luckily I’ve dealt with enough careless food service employees to know that I need to check my items before eating or driving away. I ordered VEGGIE fiesta burritos with modifications and got literally beef and beans. I pulled back through and was told to go to the window to show the employees. At first they tried to say there was no beef but realized there was in fact beef on it and one employee said “it doesn’t even come with beef” and then finally had them remade. I checked them again before driving off and it was just beans and rice. I had to flag down an employee from the window to once again let them know it still wasn’t correct but if I could just get a side of guac for it it would be fine. I was met with hostility and argument from the employee and she started complaining to her coworkers about it. I didn’t even touch the guac because I don’t trust rude careless employees like that. Finally tried to eat the messed up meal I paid for and there was beef on the outside of the tortilla so I couldn’t even eat it

This is by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. I gave it three tries since moving to the area thinking it must be a fluke. The food is thrown together without care or reasoning. To get a soft taco on three different occasions that are wrapped utterly wrong so most of the filling is in the wrapper and not the shell… To get a burrito on three occasions after requesting no sour cream and either having it served with sour cream or obviously made with it and then unwrapped and have it scraped off and then the burrito put in another tortilla… Or having them tell me they are out of hot AND mild sauce at the drive thru so that I come into the lobby and get the mild and hot sauce that they are “OUT OF” from the dining room… Some upper level supervisor or franchisee needs to check into the management and staff here and they will figure out why they are not making the money they should be to be THE only Taco Bell within the range of Blue Ridge, Daleville, Troutville, Buchanan, 460 Bonsack, etc… Serious lack of good employees here. If I see a resume or application come across my desk that has employment status from this location, I will highly scrutinize the candidate.

Usually this taco bell is excellent in every way but today I sat for 30 minutes in drive thru several cars left but I couldn’t get out. There was a pickup in front that caused the problem they should of had him pull forward. By the time I got to the window my food was cold the employees apologized
