I rarely post reviews, but I felt like I needed to for this location. I don’t know what has happened within the past year and a half, but the Taco Bell at the Sunset Ave location has become the best in my book. The food is better than at other locations, the service is reasonably fast, and all the staff are great.

Today I visited the location being as I’m in rocky mount taking kids to appointment. I went thru the line got a dipping taco box the dipping taco was hot off the press not so much for my chalupa. Instead of asking for a new one for free I went through the line asked for fresh expecting different results. There wasn’t a difference so I went inside to ask for a fresh one. I was met by a young woman by the name of Sara. She was attentive no attitude when I had a complaint. No looks of disbelief or how dare you. She served me with smile made me a fresh bread and filling for the chalupa. One of the best I have had since getting them as child. Her attitude and willingness to make it right made me want to come back and give them another chance. I’m not sure who is the owner of this location but long as you have people like Sara this location with be booming years to come. Customer service is 80 percent of the job.

Poor experience overall. Employees actively cussing at the front counter and others go in pairs to the bathroom with food trays and lock the doors so no one else can enter. Not sure if they are doing drugs in the bathroom or something else.

6/6/23. Placed an orde4r online for pickup. Multiple items not made correctly (i.e., proper condiments added or withheld). Lids not sealed properly so food items leaked in bag. The crew either lacks the ability to understand orders, or they’re indifferent and certainly unsupervised. There is no fast food convenience here. If you want it right, you need to order it inside at the counter, and unpack and inspect every item.

The food is predictable and good as it should be. The staff could be a whole lot friendlier and quit acting like we’re bothering them for doing their job. I find this a lot at fast food restaurants and it’s so frustrating.

My husband ordered 4 potato soft tacos for me. One had absolutely no potatoes, one contained no sauce and two had a measly four pieces of potatoes! All of them were luke warm in temperature…. After a long day, I wanted a simple yummy item I didn’t have to cook. This was a waste of my money and time. They didn’t pick up the phone when I called so I am sharing my disappointment this way. Hopefully, no one else tonight has to deal with this problem. If I could give them (no stars) I would.
