This place gave me what I call burnt chicken. I returned the chicken and told them it was burnt. They explained it was not burnt, but the oil has not been changed for a while. MY $40 BUCKET OF CHICKEN WAS BLACK.

I have lived in Oakland for more than a decade and a half, ever since this Taco Bell opened. Every couple of months I foolishly decide to give them a chance and see if they’ve ever improved. I will spoil it for you, they absolutely never have. I very rarely get in order done correctly, to the point where what I ordered is what I received. You would think Taco Bell has standards for how much of what sauces we go on what food, I believe they’ve never considered these standards at this location. Food either comes with no sauce, or so much sauce that it’s nothing but sauce. They are chronically understaffed, and always slow. Even during non-peak hours. Quite frankly, management seems to intentionally hobble this location, and I can very firmly recommend that nobody ever eat at this location. It boggles my mind how they manage to keep this site in business.

Why would Oakland keep this unsanitary, untrained staffed, chaos of food chain open in this developing area? It is an eyesore and an embarrassment. How are the managers and owner not embarrassed? Always out of food, never opens on time, have you waiting in line for 30+ minutes. Do the public a favor and close the doors permanently. Thanks!

Horrible, two days in a row my order is wrong. Ordered Nashville hot big basket and small popcorn chicken. I was charged for a large popcorn chicken and got a biscut instead of popcorn chicken. They are also rude in the drive through when placing order.

Food seemed to be stale. Tortillas did not taste as they should. Cinnamon Twists tasted as if they had been left out for several days. Bathroom had no towels and soap stains everywhere as though it had not been cleaned for some time.

Tried it twice a week apart. Once for lunch once for dinner. Both times it was like I got the workers out of bed. They were mostly pleasant but SO SLOW. And, neither time the receipt machine was working (which I have to have for my expenses)
