Counter staff was friendly and welcoming. The manager was very personable and made sure we were taken care of from the time we walked in until we all said goodbye. The restaurant was extremely clean and organized. All in all this location is an excellent choice should you have a craving to run for the border – if you will. So with that said, I would highly recommend this Palatine Taco Bell.

This is quite possibly the worst Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. Tried multiple times to see if it was just a fluke, but no. The most blazingly horrible part is the service. I totally understand that the workers probably are poorly paid, but this place either has a very bad management atmosphere that’s causing the workers to hate their jobs, or just terrible training in general. On one occasion I was lectured by probably a teenager in the drivethrough window for asking for a frozen Baja blast when I saw that the machine was working behind him. I had tried to order a regular Baja blast at the speaker and was told they were out, which was no issue. But apparently once I got to the window and noticed I could potentially get a frozen version, I was told that I should have just ordered that with the rest of my food and don’t do that again at the window. I’m not a taco bell employee and never have been. I’m supposed to automatically know that the frozen and liquid versions are two different machines and that if one is out it doesn’t mean the other version is out? Would have been fine if the kid hadn’t had such an attitude about it. Have remembered things last minute and asked if I could add them at the window at many fast food establishments. Never had an issue unless they were super busy and I just acknowledged it would be an inconvenience and left it at that. I was the only one in line at this occurrence. Same deal when my wife went through the drive through a few weeks later and wanted to place two orders to split payments. Same attitude, no politeness, just a straight out “No” with an attitude. Never have run into that being an issue anywhere else either. Bottom line is, the customer service is awful, in a position where that’s practically your main job. Bad service = losing customers, because not only will I not be going back to this establishment, but I’ll be telling everyone else I know not to as well. Which is ultimately a miniscule section of their business, but I doubt we’re the only ones in this boat, so I’d highly recommend better training and a look at the current management. Will be calling corporate to complain about the rudeness and what appears to be refusal to do anything that is an ‘inconvenience’. This is an entry level position. Teach the kids how to treat others so they at least have a chance of gaining some skills and moving on to bigger and better things in the future. As a side note, the food we got was horribly put together and sloppy like not even a smidgen of effort was made.

I’ve never written a review and when I go to Taco Bell I expect garbage but what I received in this $20 Taco Bell bag was disgusting. The girl playing with her hair while scrolling thru her Snapchat for me to watch was weird and gross and when I asked for fire sauce she said, “we’re out” with a blank stare. How does a Taco Bell runs out of sauce packets is real head scratcher, pack size is probably 10,000 per box. The thought of eating this food once I opened it and saw it 6 minutes later didn’t cross my mind especially thinking all the stuff probably going on in there I couldn’t see. I wouldn’t serve this food to my dog, I don’t want a refund or response. Done for life kind of experience. Do not go.

This is what they’re chicken gordita crunch looks like, me and my girlfriend thought it was a mistake so we took it back and asked if they Would remake it the cashier was so sweet and helpful but whoever the cook was was very rude and insisted this is the right amount. We showed them the tacos too. So idk what is going on with this location but I’m for real done trying it’s always an attitude and subpar food I know it’s taco bell but sheesh. Your gonna tell me that this is what it is supposed to look like?????

Look, it’s Taco Bell. It’s not authentic but it is delicious. I’m biased because I could eat here 5 days a week. Their prices have gone up, but it’s still worth it. If you’re looking for something other than a burger, this is the freshest fast food you’ll find.

This is the absolute worst Taco Bell I have ever been too in my entire life. I went there with the most simple order ever. Change hard shell to soft and no lettuce. Not rocket science, yet my order was wrong. So I called back and spoke with the manager and they agreed to replace my food. So I went back to get my food a second time. And when I got home the second time, they screwed up my order again. Pretty bad when your staff can’t follow simple directions. Manager included. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION.
