We ordered a Wholelotta box with tacos and burritos. The tacos had a bunch of lettuce and a good about of shredded cheese, but barely any meat. We dissected a taco and was able to fill a standard teaspoon with the meat. Pitiful. We didn’t want to make another trip so we started eating. Neither of us could finish a burrito or the bean cups because they were extremely salty. The rice was dried out. We finally got back to the nearly-vegan tacos. I made it through the first taco with no incident. When i bit into my second taco I also bit into a long hair which i had to pull out of my mouth – spitting out the rest of the taco in the process. DISGUSTING! Hairy tacos? NO THANK YOU! DO NOT EAT HERE.

Bueno! I am happy to say that our local Taco Bueno is back to its top form. We went today and everything was perfect…..the place was immaculate, tortillas fresh and soft, chips fresh and crisp, and the condiment bar fully stocked. Portion sizes were back to where they should have been. All that, and the food was hot, and tasty. I complimented the guys at the counter on the turnaround from a few months ago. I was told that the manager who had previously run it so well had returned. Welcome back! This is how a great Taco Bueno is supposed to be run.

Went here tonight for the first time in a long time( as a result of past HORRIBLE service and bad food) and the customer Service and food was amazing!!! The lady that served me was named Kim and she was an absolute delight and I was very pleased with her customer service skill. I don’t know if they are under new management but I will be making Bueno in Waxahachie my new hot spot when I am craving TX mex! If you have had a bad experience here before, I promise, the recent improvements in service and quality of food are worth giving this place another shot! Why bueno team and Kim! Y’all rocked!

Edit: This location honestly needs to be shut down. I waited in line again for another 25 minutes on 06/27/23 at 12:30p. Whoever is working during this time truly needs to be fired and management needs to be held accountable by higher ups. Luckily they’re in Waxahachie with minimal competition

Bad service, bad food and got everything on the order incorrect, the tea was sour and old and they shorted us on things like the chips, plastic utensils, ect. Definitely the worst taco Bueno in a 50 mile radius.
