WOW!! I was lied to about this place and I am MAD !!!!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!! WOW!!! it’s literally fast food Mexican food!!!! I paid $16 and got more than what I could handle I got the macho platter and the number five medium 4 my boyfriend wow!!!!! Rude workers and food wasn’t worth the money. I ordered a Big Freakin Chicken quesadilla and there was hardly any chicken and it was not fresh. If you are going to spend money on a “Big Freakin” quesadilla it should be loaded just saying.

Really bummed. Was craving taco bueno tonight. Drove 35 min into town and made it at 9:42 pm. Drive thru was blocked off with a stool and the lobby was locked even though they had the hours posted everywhere as lobby open till 10 pm and drive thru open till midnight.

Visited this Taco Bueno on 5/28/23 and hoping the experience would be good as one person I was with was a first timer. This is the Taco Bueno in Denton on W University Drive! The food was ok nothing to write home about! The men’s bathroom had NO handsoap to wash in the sink. This is something that is a MUST and the bathrooms should be checked regularly, maybe once every few hours! However, the worst part of our visit was the rude shift lead, older lady with glasses!! She was totally rude and we had to repeat ourselves 3 times, probably because she kept walking off doing other things which was also INCREDIBLY rude! I watched her facial expression with an attitude and she rolled her eyes at us!! Im not sure what she didnt understand about our order as we all speak very fluent English! I asked what her function is and she told me shift lead! Taco Bueno corp, you need to have a serious talk with this individual and/or remove her from working on the front line with customers!! We almost walked out but we were very hungry and we had a long drive home! I do hope this is addressed and noone else has to experience the same rude behavior from this individual especially if she is a lead!! HORRIBLE!!!

I ordered two Muchacos, One beef and one chicken, and let me tell you, I was very upset that my chicken muchaco barely had chicken. You have to pay over $4 for one chicken muchaco and they don’t even fill it up with chicken. It looks like they took two pieces of chicken and tried to shred it…y’all need to get it together bueno. At this point, Taco Bell even gives more than that and they’ve Always been greedy with portions.

I took my whole family to taco bueno and they loved it. My two kids Juan and Felipe loved the cheese. My grandmother was fond of the party burritos. Which i agree with those party burritos are perfectly yum yum certified! I met my husband in a taco bueno and i fell in love with my husband in a taco bueno.I met him on a dark sunday afternoon. i had just got off my long shift at free birds and he had just divorced his wife. it was love at first sight! every sunday i went to visit my future lover. one day he was in there and i asked him to enjoy a bundle of burritos with me. i ordered 16 party burritos and hid the ring in one of them. He ate it choked and had to go to the hospital. we removed the ring and he said yes! now for our anniversary we go to taco bueno to celebrate our love!

I went to my local Taco Bueno this week and wanted ice water with my meal and they charged me 3.45. I’ve done my research and the Taco Bueno in University in Denton TX is ripping people off. No other chain I’ve been to does this including the other Taco Bueno in town in Loop 288. Shame on the owner and management for price gouging people. Also the young blond hair man that works there has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. He’s immature and likes to question people when they order large amounts of food. I won’t be back.

Last time my girlfriend ate here her meat was undercooked and this time I thought saw a burnt pice of chicken and I took it out and saw that its a june bug! This is disgusting and the undercooked meat is dangerous. This place was pretty solid and we ate here all the time but after these past few incidents we will never eat here again. As usual in a college town, the hours say 24 hours, but they do what they want. I showed up at 11:30 and some kid was blocking off the drive thru. He went back inside without even the courtesy of telling me why and locked the door. There were multiple adults, little children, inside.
