Taco Casa is a local favorite here in Tuscaloosa. The restaurant is locally owned and operated. I believe there 5 locations here in Tuscaloosa. The food is great along with the service. It’s actually become a top stop for folks that are returning in to Tuscaloosa. We stop in at least once a week. You should as well!

Not sure what the hype or the ratings are for. Been through the drive through two times. Food is always soggy, wet and seemingly prepackaged in plates and wrapped in plastic wrap…and then maybe heated in the microwave? Taco Bell is even better and at least crunchy when it’s supposed to be.

Primarily, kids love this place. Mine included, I have learned to order no sauce on anything because of the time it takes to get home (5 minutes), and it’s falling apart from the water (not anything flavorful for sure they call it sauce). Burritos come plastic wrapped, which throws the flavor off as well. Now the nachos are good, and that’s my go-to now. I wish they could come up with some flavor for their water sauce and serve on the side so you could add just before eating. Now, that would be an awesome thing.

Food is always good especially the sweet tea. Service wasn’t bad but not great either. I’ll be back

Yes it tasted good… but the amount of meat has gone down in the tacos and burritos. I understand changing prices with inflation and things being out of stock but why is there a fee for using a card to pay over cash?! Cards are faster and more convenient. Makes no since so that plus the little bit of meat means I’m done with taco casa.

The food was nasty. It tasted like a fake taco and gave me ingestion.

I went to this location because I had never been to a Taco Casa and heard an advertisement on the radio mentioning how fresh all the ingredients are. After getting my food, I was not very impressed. I’ve had Mexican food that seemed more fresh from Taco Bell. Also the service at this location was not very good. One positive is that it was not very expensive.

Got basically a version of a chicken taco salad. The shredded chicken in it was very watered down and had very little flavor. The shell of the taco salad was very bland tasting, too. The portion-size filled me up, at least. Just felt afterwards that it’s not worth my money or time to visit again in the future.
