I got a hankering for Taco Casa in the middle of a road trip between Lubbock & Dallas. The stars were in my favor, because when I looked up there was a Taco Casa at the next exit. I got a chalada with no meet then I added lettuce & tomatoes.

It’s like Taco Bell but… it’s not expensive, the food is good, and the meat is real (so maybe not much like Taco Bell). The crispy taco shells are not stale, the steam from the kitchen where actual food being prepared and cooked affects the shells consistency. The shells still had plenty crunch and tasted good. I will be back.

One thing about Taco Casa is they’re not sheisty with the meat or cheese. Has been good everytime I’ve gone. Only thing is I wish they had a variety of hot sauce. But all around it’s good.
