Yummy! We were kindly greeted by a nice gentleman by the name of Alexis. He was very informative with the menu and patient. Our food came out promptly and it looked amazing! Food was fresh and hot, flavorful, and good portions. We enjoyed the aguas frescas, we got watermelon and lime. I highly recommend the drinks they were perfect! Our food was brought out by Nancy, she was very friendly and kind. We have been looking for a good taco spot in mesquite for the last 6 years and finally we have found it!! Taco city is the spot to go to for good street tacos. Stop on by and check them out, the place was very clean and it’s huge. Big enough to accommodate big parties. The restrooms also smelled and looked very clean. Welcome to Mesquite Taco City y mas!! Glad you call Mesquite your new home! Thank you Nancy and Alexis!

Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food had barely any flavor. The drinks were a joke. Ordered a mango margarita, it tasted like only mix. Ordered a Paloma and that was just Fresca and Ice. Asked the bartender about the drink and she said the owner watches what they pour. So she offered an “extra” shot. Watched her pour the “shot” from a Jimador bottle. Went to add it half to my drink and decided to “shoot” the other half and guess what? It was WATER lol. They literally poured water from the Jimador bottle. I’ll never come back to this place. Keep this in mind when ordering drinks here.

The Food is Amazing! Finally we found Birria Tacos that have great flavor with delicious consume sauce. Also Hubby had Fajita Taco plate & was very surprised how well they tasted. Salsa was spicy just what we wanted. This is our new Taco Go To Place. Super Friendly staff as well. You won’t be disappointed

Thursday 7/20 around 3pm. Ordered pickup through ubereats. It is listed as a different name but says being prepared by taco city. When I go to pick up the lady says there are no orders and says that isn’t even the same place. Ok fine. I leave, reset GPS and it takes me right back. Again I go in to make sure. The lady says there aren’t any orders, we’re done with orders, idk what to tell you, etc. Ok fine. I leave and get food elsewhere. The lady calls to apologize and tell me they did have my order but it’s was under R instead of the whole last name. Really? Major eye roll. I feel like this should have been common sense to check that way. Tbh she didnt seem like she wanted to be helpful from the start so no points for the apology after coming in twice and being made to feel stupid.
