Food was great so we came back multiple times. On our 2nd to last visit we ordered to go and they forgot my girlfriends little soup that goes with the biriia tacos. We let that go since we come here regularly and it was a one-off mistake. Our most recent visit was unfortunately not a good one. The gentleman who works here older Hispanic gentleman heavy build. Was very rude this time. Didn’t offer us any water or chips and salsa. We are repeat customers and I have even tipped very well here. Given the circumstances of our return and how they forgot a portion of my girls meal the previous time I’d expected better this time around. We were also charged more for the kids meal than what is showed on the menu. Sad because this was one of our favorite spots.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now. Yes, it has its “tex-mex,” but they do dig into their roots with true Mexican food, which is what I like. The corn tortillas are de mano. That should say a lot.

I loved the birria quesadilla! The salsas were great and they offer spicy salsas as well. A cozy hole in the wall feel but with good food and great service. Been to a few Mexican food places in this area and they’ve all been fine. However I very much enjoyed myself at Taco De Oro tonight. Can’t wait to visit again and try something new out from their menu.

Food is ok, with the exception of the birria tacos. They’re absolutely delicious. I would add some chick peas to the consommé to give it a bit of texture, other than that the seasoning is almost perfection. Margaritas are so far the best I’ve had in a while. I’ve tried their seasonal flavors and no disappointment so far. Highly recommended if you want to be in a cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff, starting with Ms Jan welcoming with a huge smile every time.
