This location has decreased in quality recently. The classic Taco Del Mar black beans they used to serve are now store-bought unseasoned black beans. There’s seemingly no communication about this, and this Taco Del Mar actually isn’t even on the official Taco Del Mar website.

I wentgere for lunch today. I’ve been a customer for years. the owner happened to be there. never seen him there before. I asked for a discount for queso because I had a small burrito. Queso for one scoop is $2. Not only did he give me a regular amount of queso, he paid for my burrito… More business owner should recognize prices have increased for everything and give back to loyal customers.

We love this place and visit frequently, but I was really disappointed at our last visit to see that the server was NOT wearing a mask. Seems to me with Delta variant on the rise that anyone handling food should wear a mask at all times. I didn’t notice til she was halfway done making our food. Next time I will pay better attention and walk right out if the person behind the counter isn’t masked up.

The food was really good I ordered on the phone at first maybe the lady didn’t understand a word I said all she spoke with Spanish she understand the liquor English so and reorder my order again I asked it to be not hot oh my God it was so hot I mean it’s hot it was too hot and she was really rude to me I wanted extra short in Spanish this is very unprofessional in front of customers because I don’t know if she’s talking about spending my food or what if they work in America I have no problem I can speak in their language but when they’re working and you just speak English language but the lady she seem like she didn’t want to be there ..

Server breathing on food. Love taco Del Mar. waited in line for 15 min making sure I was at least 6 feet away from other people. there was only one poor lady working. When I got up to the counter I realized her nose wasn’t covered by the mask, she was breathing heavily because of the rush and most of the food bins were uncovered. Ew!

Taco Del Mar is always a favorite. One of the few “fast food” ish places that’s safe for my kid with severe nut allergies, it’s convenient and offers solid healthy choices. What more could a parent ask in this modern age?
