Hands down, this is consistently the best Taco Del Mar location there is, and it has been for about 20 years now. The owner, Mark, runs a tight ship, employs good people, and cares deeply about the quality of the product being served. You won’t find a better burrito from any Taco Del Mar out there and that’s just a fact.

Went in tonight at 8, made a special trip to get Taco Del Mar. Staff had already cleared away most all of the food- there were only two items left on the food line, but nothing to pair them with. No chips, no queso, no quesadillas, no stars.

I had a negative experience today. I have never been here before and now I don’t think I want to come back. The worker there was an older man with a beard and a large figure. He was rude and uncooperative when I asked him questions about the menu. He didn’t seem to care about his job. When I walked in he was on his cell phone and took his time before taking my order. I read another comment about the same man. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing or just doesn’t care.

Staff was a middle age man very rude, I was ordering multiple burritos I had asked from the beginning to do one at a time to avoid mix ups and ignored my comment, as I was telling him what I wanted he had put something wrong on my orders I had told him that’s why I asked to focus on one burrito and ignored what I said and told me to just answer his questions. The store didn’t had any other customers for him to rush me because that’s how it felt. Horrible customer experience, very rude and didn’t even greet me when I got there. Don’t recommend that location and gives a bad name to a good restaurant. If I could I would give him no stars.

So first of all this Taco Del Mar on Pearl is 100% my favorite. Jana is awesome and understanding, I have Asperger syndrome and have a very hard time with tastes and textures. Jana is always amazing and makes my burrito right every single time, she just picks up on what I’m about to say before I say it and always make sure that I have plenty of guacamole, sour cream and everything is evenly spread. She always gives me a ton of jalapenos on the side just like I like. Also their manager Mark is top notch and sweet as hell. This is the only Taco Del Mar I will use and I make a special trip out here because they are that amazing. Their store is always clean their food is always fresh their trays are always sanitized and their drinks are never too syrupy or to club soda. Yes Taco Del Mar is a bit expensive but you definitely get what you pay for here! I would definitely recommend it for a date, friends or family! Thank you Jana and Mark love Rocky
