Got there at a little after the open (10am ) I ordered the Birra and Consome 3 tacos it was magnificent fresh, well seasoned and the consome was heavenly . Also ordered 1 chicken street taco..omg so good will be back soon..the taco here is better than the ones I had in Mexico hands down!!

Amazing authentic Mexican food on Long Island! So glad this place opened up in the area. A recent trip to Mexico enlightened us to what real Mexican food is like. And we craved it. The food at Taco El Chingon fit the bill perfectly. We got two birria quesadillas and one torta cubana (not pictured here). Everything was mouth-wateringly good with generous portions. Each of our dishes came with a side of chips too. The owner is also super nice. We’re definitely going to come back many times. If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Mexican food, you won’t be disappointed!

Worst Mexican tacos and burrito I ever had , i order a steak burrito and an order of birria tacos ,the burrito as you can see in the picture is more rice and beens wrap , totally not recommended this place if you want Mexican food ..very disappointed

My husband and I stopped here for the first time. It’s a cute little spot, we ordered tacos with the rice and beans and quesadillas. All were great. We will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem of a place. Super authentic with some things thrown in for those misguided friends who think Old El Paso is real Mexican food. There are lots of things to try on this menu (anything with Machete in the name has to be good, right?) and they’re all good. Plus the different sauces like, as stupid as this may sound, their pico, are fresh and super tasty. The staff are nice and helpful. It’s just a fun experience with great food!

Awesome, awesome food; fast, friendly service; spotlessly clean physical location. I had a birria taco, al pastor taco, and chicken quesadilla and all three were loaded with fillings, flawlessly put together, and — can’t stress this enough — insanely delicious. Prices were great too for the amount and quality of food. Go here. Give them all your money to buy as many tacos as you can. Then buy more. I can’t wait to go back.

Nice corner spot with parking, place did feel like home and clean. Taste test was present upon request. However, 2 stars off because the meat, pork, and chicken was pre-cooked and not hot as if they just made it… you can’t have a sign that says made to order, but meat and chicken was tough and chewy to eat… wasn’t soft at all warm or hot. Place open at 10a.m I got there at 11:45a.m no excuses needed, get better. 2 chicken tacos, 1 steak taco, and 1 pork taco that was a taste test and I bought a pork crunchy taco…
