We go here 1 time a week for the amazing burritos! Tuesdays is 1.50$ tacos ( cash only) but always the best. We love the birra tacos! These 2 women were even open when it was 117 degrees a years ago. Burritos are fully loaded with the works. I suggest the pork! Enjoy! Oh and try the Quesabirra as well!! They don’t lack on consumme or cheese y’all!

This is one of the better food trucks in the Portland area. The location is a big odd, I wouldn’t go out of my way for this spot, but if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth stopping in. The pricing is great and the flavor of the meats are all tasty.

I adore this place, I’ve been coming here since I was like 17 in the 20teens. Well I’m in my mid twenties now and the prices have always been great; and I just love the ladies that run this place. They’re so sweet and I’m always so happy to see them. The flavor tho?! The best Mexican food I’ve had in Portland so far. The women were saying they make everything from scratch which like you’d kind of expect but they kill it every time. The red sauce is my favorite with a burrito supreme. I go for carne asada, I never get gristle or fatty chunks like I have with other places. I can feed myself and my partner amazing food that fills us very well for under 30$ it’s amazing. I’ll finish a burrito one of these days, I usually lose traction close to the end and get left with what I call “burrito butt” as a lil snack for later

I don’t review places, but it’s worth flagging that around the Reed college area this is a gem for tacos and burritos. I’m from Texas and have spent a lot of time in the Southwest and Cali. The food is good, a little greasy but really good. Great service and college kid prices. If you like Gigantic Brewery just across the street, all the more reason to head to Taco Express.

I’ve only ever had the Burrito Supreme. At a great price of $7 (cash!), how can I say no!? The ladies are always friendly, never a long wait, and the taste reminds me of home (San Antonio). For a quick dinner idea, this has been our go-to a number times for my daughter and I.

It’s about time I left a review here. I’ve been going here for a few years now religiously, for lack of a better word. It’s the absolute best taco spot we have here in the Portland area, in my humble opinion. Not only do they cater to quality and authenticity, they are also very affordable. I have an inside joke with my family about it. We call this “old school prices”. Reminds me much of the tacos I eat when I visit SoCal. Also, the ladies who run this place are some of the kindest and you can really feel how passionate they are about feeding us delicious food. Please eat here!
