Nice, friendly place. Reasonable prices and a good selection of Mexican food. The food we had was just okay though. Nothing outstanding. Just average. Go try it out. Maybe I was expecting too much? UPDATE: Three of the four of us were sick the next day. All three had chicken.

Food here is wonderful …. no, we mean wonderful! better than most every other mexican/hispanic fare we’ve eaten in Tennessee, Alabama, and other states in which we’ve lived or traveled. We also agreed the food here is better than the Legends restaurant across the corner (where lunch for two with beer has easily cost three times as much as at Taco Express).

The food is amazing! They will also let you customize a lot of their food to your liking. I recomend the fajitas with steak and chicken. They come out sizzling on a hot plate and are delicious! Great place for a quick but good meal.

Superb service provided by Owner from start at placing the order. Unto, serving the food, and great atmosphere. Super clean restaurant, fresh food non greasy, and awesome quality. The combo fajitas were amazing. Homemade chips, queso dip, salsa, green/red sauces freshly made with flavor. Was on a road trip after taking a detour, stopped by and glad a chance was taken. Enjoyed every aspect of this business didn’t notice debit card was left, had to drive from Kentucky back here to get it. Lol
