This place is very underrated. My family and I LOVE going here. We come from Vallejo just to eat here. It never disappoints! Some of the reviews I think are wrong since some people prefer fake Mexican food vs AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Their asada is bomb! I recommend also trying their express burrito it always GREAT!

We Door Dashed our food. Our food came pretty quick, so we didnt think it would be that good. To our surprise, it was absolutely delicious. The pozole was the best ive ever had. The carnitas was flavorful and not dry like most places. The rice was cooked perfectly. You want authentic, delicious mexican food. This place is hands down best tasting mexican food in the County. The only way you get better authentic mexican food like this, is to go to Mexico. Definitely looking forward to eating here again.

Veggie burrito is okay, they use refried instead of whole beans, and they dont have black beans. I had to ask to leave out the sour cream and cheese, they don’t have any fully vegan options, you pay full price they don’t adjust for removal of dairy. The drive thru was rather slow the day of visit despite the “fast and fresh” marketing . Chips are extra$.

They used to be good. They just raised all their prices by $1.50. I usually order the Shredded Chicken Burrito $7.50 now $8.99 (see pics) they just charged me $10.50 and said there is nothing they can do because the menus were printed wrong and it’s not in their computer. So you are saying you raised the price by $3.00 on that one item??? Naw. You did me wrong. AND YOU MISSED AN ORDERED ITEM AND EXPECTED ME TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK WITH ALL MY FOOD TO PROVE IT AFTER YOU MESSED UP!

For what I ordered. The food was pretty good and a nice portion. This location is now only open from Monday-Saturday . They do have a drive thru as well as accept Apple Pay. If you already know their menu and what you want, then the line seems to move along pretty quick. Bit during lunch is always busy.

I have been enjoying Taco express since they opened, with no complaints. It’s unfortunate that today I have to share that I will no longer order from the establishment as I found, whatever type of bug this is in my California Burrito today. I reported this to doordash which gave me a credit, and escalated my complaint. I did call to report it to the restaurant as well. I am not here to bash, but to make others aware, and hold the restaurant accountable. Please be careful, and I pray the restaurant is more careful, and become more focused on food safety, before someone gets sick.
