We went inside for breakfast at this newer location on a Saturday morning. Kennedy was a very nice and he helped us order our food. He was friendly and we had a pleasant interaction with him while he was cleaning. Only one other customer came in during our visit, so there was plenty of places to sit. We want to go to back Taco johns again and eat at lunch time. The breakfast food we had was okay.

OK, for just opening, it was an excellent experience. It was my first time having taco John’s, and it is definitely 100% better than Taco Bell. Their medium-sized drink is a 30oz, and their large is a whooping 42oz. If you are not a big eater, then stick to the medium size. I had their super burrito combo, and it was good! My wife had the street tacos with steak, and she loved it! They offer Pepsi drinks, which to me is sad because I am a coke person. The facility is definitely clean because it is brand new! Enjoy!

We had a grilled chicken burrito (meh) with a street taco trio (pretty good). The order was for chicken, but steak is what came. Service was friendly. The eating area is pleasant and would be an easy place to talk or work, but we took ours home where beer is on the menu.

Update 5-18. Dropping it down to 3*. Every time I go there items keep coming smaller and smaller and price goes up. It’s pretty sad when your 2$ Nacho crunch burrito is half the size of Taco Bell’s 2$ Beefy Melt burrito. And the 3$ Spicy chicken and potato griller was just tiny. Definitely shouldn’t be on their “Valuest” menu because there wasn’t any value at all. The thing was almost wider than it was long. Plus I don’t know if it’s this restaurant or the brand but the flavor and quality just isn’t there now. Will probably use up my rewards points then go back to the Bell. I can get mediocre food there cheaper. On a side note my 2 items took them 9 minutes to make when I was basically the only customer. Hmm I had a picture of the small Nacho burrito but can’t find it. Ohh well.

First time at Taco John’s, and was super excited to go to this brand new location. I have to say I was really impressed, the store was super clean and all the employees were so friendly, we were greeted immediately. I got to chat a bit with one of the employees Kennedy for a bit and he was incredibly kind, as was the woman who took our order Elisia. Honestly I’d go again just for the lovely staff but the food is also enjoyable for what it is, I got the meat and potato burrito and was pleasantly surprised by the potato olés with nacho cheese.

Here we go! New restaurant chain in town. I lived in Iowa for a few years, so I’m pretty familiar with them. I’m a fan! Probably the best thing is the potato oles.

We have been here multiple times trying to get good service. At first we figured, it’s just a new location and the employees need time to train and find a rhythm. Nope, they close early almost every night. Sometimes we pull up to the speaker and no one says anything so we drive away. Close this place down. You’re losing money.

Took my daughter and I for the first time. The storms we had just gotten knocked their menu screens out, so it was difficult to order and figure out what you want. Staff was helpful and friendly. Prices were a tad on the higher side for fast food, but the quality made up for it.
