For a new restaurant, I expected more. I would not recommend this location at all. We sat in line longer than the usual fast food drive-thru time. By time we got to the window and got our food, it was cold and they forgot items. The potatoes were good, I only wish I got as many as I ordered. The burritos were small in comparison to other locations.

Speed is my only complaint. 20 minutes for 3 cars to get their orders is a little slow.

I came in around 1130am today 8/5/23. There was only one person working in the whole store. She had the best customer service and was running both inside and drive through. She had been there since 8am by herself. I think she’s a great asset to your company and deserves to be compensated. She never complained or had a attitude and she easily could of.

My food was cold, very slow service and only 1 car in front. Taco Salad was mostly lettuce lol maybe 4 pieces of chicken. Their churros are good at least.

I was so excited for the new, closer Taco John’s. Unfortunately, last night was a disappointment. Upon arriving, the drive through was busy which was to be expected. What wasn’t expected was pretty much all that followed.

Food is always tasty! Glad there is one closer now. Service is fast and friendly for how busy they are. Awesome job. There’s no salsa on the tacos anymore?

Went there at 10:20am on a Sunday to get Breakfast and they said ohh the breakfast menu popped off out screen. Well first she said breakfast ends at 11am and I’m like okay it’s only 10:20am then she switched it to the other story. I think the they just didn’t want to make breakfast amd that’s there excusse. Was there on 9/3/2023 hope management does something about the 3 lazy employees working that morning.

I was excited to hear of a Taco John’s opening in West Milwaukee. The location is super close to me as opposed to the one in Waukesha. But alas the luster faded after a handful of visits. All orders were via drive thru and the wait time was exceedingly long. None of these times was the restaurant busy. Three were given for the food being hot and yummy and the employees were polite. But the long wait everytime is unacceptable.

Here in Milwaukee, I don’t know if they have something to prove, but their Tacos are just far superior to Taco Bells. Now I’m an over the road truck driver and all over the country I only stop into Taco John’s for those potato ole’s, cause they sprinkle crack on them or something, but the tacos be meh. But I don’t know if this was a fluke but at this location the tacos were actually great and well seasoned. The only drawback was the service. Yeah it’s just this generation of people don’t know how to talk to customers, it’s as if you are annoying them and it took about 15 minutes at least to get my order & I was the only person in drive-thru. My order came to almost $17 for a 2 taco combo with a couple of other add ons & I exclaimed “$16 & whatever the change was” & the cashier said(Annoyed)”and “You got the large!!” I’m like ok,no biggie,I pull up to the window I give him a $50 bill,he proceeds to give me back $3 & some change,I said “Brotha I gave you a 50,he opens up his drawer, sees it & then is confused & pulls out his phone to do math(Again this generation can’t count in their heads)I say”Hey young brotha, you just owe me an extra $30”, He confirms it with his phone and gives me my $30….. Then I’m sitting in line for about 15 minutes, now I’m worrying that I might have ticked them off and they are messing up my food. But I guess hopefully they didn’t do anything to my food, they just had to make it fresh or forgot about me or whatever. I will definitely eat there again,I will just go inside so I can see what’s going on. I had left out the Menards and I saw Taco Bell & thought to myself to grab something quick, but then right across the street I saw a brand new Taco John’s & thought about that sweet crack they sprinkle on them potato bites and went right on over there & like I said I went for those potato ole’s, but the tacos were actually good too, much better than they are all over the country & better than Taco Bells for sure…. I wil go back again & make sure it wasn’t a fluke, maybe this chef that night adds lawrys or Tonys, seasoning to the meat(I’ve known some Cooks to do this at fast food restaurants because they take pride in their work & like compliments)or Taco John’s has changed the recipe. Either way the food made up for the long wait.
