I didn’t think I could find a worse taco than Taco Bell but Taco John’s succeeded. The only cheese I really found was on the outside of the taco. The meat, what there was of it, was room temperature at best. Their sauces lacked much flavor. There was much more lettuce than meat. The lettuce tasted of the preservative used to keep it from looking brown. Both tacos looked like this one when I opened them. The product on the outside of the shell did not help it to look appetizing. I know it’s fast food but it shouldn’t look like this. I will not go back.

It was at noon I used the drive thru. I was surprised but it took 10 minutes to get my food. I wasn’t too upset until I went to eat it and it was cold. One taco wasn’t wrapped just thrown in the bottom of the bag.

It is quite pricey for greasy poor quality food. It was more greasy than their competitor. I went for the $2 off six pack and a pound, and still with the discount it was only a dollar less than an all you can eat buffet with better quality food. Further more, they no longer have the condiment bar, they now only have ketchup, mild sauce, and hot sauce. Overall my experience here was lame sauce and I cannot recommend this establishment. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I generally consider Taco Johns fast food but there was nothing fast about this trip. The time between order and getting my food was 17 minutes. I was one of 6 groups here on Saturday so it certainly wasn’t busy. The general lack of care should have been an indication that disappointment was coming. Drink lids were out, straws low, sauce packets were empty, at least 15 trays were piled by the garbage, and many tables were dirty. While I was waiting 2 people brought up food that had been made wrong or were shorted items. The food was at least good but definitely not 17 minute wait good. It will be a long time before I come back and hopefully they have the basics down by then.
