The food was good, however the establishment has yet to update their signs, as I became aware today. the value menu items currently displayed market the products as “New” on the value menu, however, the products are not being charged as such. For instance the nacho crunch burrito advertised on their value menu sign as “New” for $1 had the price hiked to $2 for beef and $3 for chicken. had I not asked about why my order seemed more expensive than I had calculated it to be, I would have been charged a price that was never made aware to me, which I feel could be considered false advertisement, or even theft. Overall the restaurant is a very good establishment for decent quality food, and I am in no way saying it’s a bad restaurant to frequent, I am just hoping who ever is in charge of this location can do better at updating their signs, and advertising the correct prices for their customers.

Ordered the boss bowl which seemed to take a little while despite no line. Was politely asked to move ahead so as not to make others wait. Order came out as a burrito and I informed them of their mistake. Order was quickly fixed AND I got to keep the mistake order Exceeded expectations in every way, thank you!!

I always order Super Potato Oles. My favorite meal. I’ve ordered these for years from multiple Taco John locations including this one. Super Potato Oles is my go-to because it has a generous amount if you order the large. Today I ordered Three large Super Potato Oles expecting to eat about half now and about half again a little bit later tonight as usual. But the serving was so small that you could still see the plastic in the bottom of the containers. For all three of them. I called it to tell them that something was wrong with the orders. The man answering the phone only argued that the potato oles were measured out so it was accurate. I explained that something was off because I have been ordering these for years and have never ever had such a small portion. Let alone three small portions. He was not even apologetic and offered nothing to make it right. I’m not very happy especially considering I’m a loyal customer. I paid $24.79 which included three small beverages, for these and all three of us walked away hungry. I am so unhappy with his attitude and what we received that I would have preferred to give a one star except that in spite of the very small portion the food tasted good. Plus in the past I have had great service at this particular location. But I probably won’t be going back there anytime soon.

Was very disgusted as I watch a worker clean the dirt and dust off the ceiling directly above open food. Those pads were extremely dirty… Disgusting… Sorry this is what I seen. I realize cleaning needs to get done. BUT NOT ABOVE OPEN FOOD, NOT ABOVE THE GRILL OR THE FRYER THAT IS COOKING YOUR CUSTOMERS FOOD. COULD NOT EAT MY FOOD AFTER WATCHING THIS. IT WAS DISGUSTING.

Alyssa was awesome. Friendly and very helpful as this was our first time at a Taco Johns. The food. I ordered the 2 soft taco meal which included very crispy potato rounds and a side of queso which I apparently didn’t know until too late cost me an additional 99 cents. And a drink, Iced tea.
