First time at the St Joe location and last time. Already seemed run down but benefit of the doubt. Took a bite of a potato Ole and it had the consistency of what I would expect if you left it out in your car and then microwaved it. I chucked all the food out. I honestly think that place needs a health inspection visit.

The nacho cheese at this Taco John’s seems to be watered down like they add water to make it last longer. The Taco John’s in Waite Park has much better nacho cheese sauce. Seems strange the St. Joseph location is that stingy.

Their drive through speaker has been broken for well over a year now, after having to literally shout at the box and being told they still couldn’t hear me, I suggested they get a new system, or at least fix this one as it’s nearly impossible to order at times. I was then spoken down to and and told I don’t have any idea the cost, which I don’t, but I do know about running a business. I know there’s always a solution when it comes to being able to effectively sell a product. The employee informed me that it would cost over $20k to replace the system. After some research, I found that for a few hundred dollars they could buy something that would be much more effective then their current system. With that being said, a cup and string might work better.

We ordered 3 Boss bowls. The menu describes grilled chicken. Ours had canned chicken . The girl worker laughed while she watched the guy getting some of the food ready and looked over at me, which made me wonder what he did? If he dropped it and put it back in? Or maybe it was because he opened canned chicken . The restaurant was dirty. The girl worked register and the food and didn’t wash in-between . I hope we don’t get sick. One of us is handicapped.

The food was okay, I felt they barely seasoned the potato oles, plus the girl who was taking our order needed an attitude adjustment, if you dont like your job, quit… being in the customer service industry, I expect better service. Not saying that the employees have to be cheery every second they’re there, because that is unreasonable; but, because they were slow when I got there, I expected anything better than an eye roll at the end of each item I ordered.

Do not go there. Potatoes are too salty, there is nothing in the burrito and when I called due to an incorrect order the manager raised her voice how she made the order correct and wasn’t going to refund the order. The person that took the order didn’t take it correctly. No receipt was provided, and the order wasn’t what I wanted. I shouldn’t have to train the employee to ask the question which steak burrito I wanted as I didn’t get the correct one. Poor customer service. I will be following up with a refund as this is ridiculous and I shouldn’t have to tolerate being spoken to the way I was over the phone.
