I love me some potato ole’! Tacos are pretty good too. Nothing special or snazzy, just a simple good crunchy taco. Not into the soft shell, but they have a nice variety to chose from. I think they are better than Taco Bell big time

My husband, sister, and I went and we are from FL. Taco Johns closed in FL so we were thrilled to find one in IL. We LOVE the potato oles and the food was good, but unfortunately service was super slow and chaotic from the front to the back of the restaurant. Customers were even asking for refunds and orders were not correct. Hopefully, staff are in training!!!

Normally their tacos are really good. But after getting a $50 order yesterday, we found that their tacos were really stale and did not taste good. Fortunately the potato oles were good so that saved the meal. We also found we were missing tacos, so we had to turn around and go back. I’m sorry to say that the staff weren’t welcoming at all. I work in fast food, I would get in trouble if I acted the way they did. The whole experience was a let down. Bummer 🙁

Was looking for a quick place for breakfast and this was recommended by a friend. I’m not a fast food fan, but gave it a try. I had the Jr burritos, one sausage one bacon. Both were very good. Made fresh as well. That was impressive. Had the potato rounds with cheese too. Good stuff. I’d be willing to try other things on the menu!

This is not the only place to do this, however, it needs being addressed… When a vehicle orders two or more beverages… Automatically stick the drinks in a carrier. It’s up to us to decide if we need that holder, not theirs. Or at least offer the carrier. Otherwise, the food was fresh & hot. Maybe a bit too slow for fast-food, but no fast-food drive-thru is ever fast. At least the order was correct.

My food was prepared fresh. It was served hot. My wait for a fresh meal was only a couple minutes and it was delivered to my table. My Taco Bravo was tasty and the Ole’s were perfect. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will return again.

The speaker was muffled and almost impossible to communicate through in the drive through. The worker taking our order was not helpful. Misunderstandings when it came to our order repeatedly. Also, they dont have churros anymore apparently. When we got our food, the tacos were practically empty. Wouldn’t go back, and disappointed in this restaurant.
