Nice view of lakeside, decent food. I’ve had better, and my daughter didn’t care to much for it. The table we sat at was sticky with who knows what, as well as the table behind us. All of the condiment packets were sticky from syrup or something else. In fact, not one of the packets were non-sticky. The people were nice though, and the only questionable thing they did was a single employee taking something out of the fryer and eating it without gloves.

Restaurant was closed except for the drive thru, so the line was very long. Ordered a fried chicken & potato burrito with oles. Hardly any chicken in the burrito, and it wasn’t wrapped correctly (stuff falling out). Oles were barely seasoned. The wife ordered a taco bravo that had WAY too many tomatoes. When she unwrapped it they all fell onto the table. She said it tasted fine though.

It was around 9:30 pm when we got back from Yellowstone to Cody. Basically, everything was closed, and we couldn’t find a place to eat dinner. Finally, we found Taco John’s still open for Drive Thru. So, I ordered fire chicken and tacos and Nachos beef. Well, they are way too salty, and I hardly finish them. So, if I had a choice, I wouldn’t return. ☹️

Took over 20 minutes to get our food and was missing the oles, couldn’t put chips and cheese into a combo, night shift didn’t prep last night so we were given a half portion of frozen guacamole. There were only three people working who really liked to chat. We watched multiple people walk out because they couldn’t be waited on.

The location is astounding but the service was straight up disrespectful after they messed up our order they agreed to fix it with talking back eye rolling. I visited this place to enjoy a nice meal with my family at 6 – 6:40 on July 11 2023. The food was okay but the rice was raw. … More

Great place for fast food Tacos. Used to be a bit cleaner, could use a good cleaning. Plenty of employees that get your order out quickly which is a nice plus. Glad the dining room is always open.

This is probably the worst Taco John’s I’ve ever visited! There weren’t many people in the restaurant, but it took over 15 minutes to be served and the food was barely warm. The staff was far from cordial and I could hear cursing from the “kitchen” area. We may visit a Tac John’s again, but it won’t be the Cody location!

We were going to have dinner there on May 28th. The door was locked. The chairs were on the table. When we are traveling we like to go into a restaurant to eat, stretch and use the restroom. The website said the inside was open. We were very disappointed and went to McDonald’s for dinner.
