If it weren’t for all the Texas decorations I would have thought I was eating tacos in some places like North Dakota. My kids loved the decorations and spent quite a bit of time discovering new things in the mural.

I had a couple chicken fajitas tacos and had to remove several pieces of poorly trimmed chicken from my mouth in addition to a small chicken bone. Not sure where they get there meat from, probably a can, but this is not the first time I have had questionable meat at this location.

I absolutely love the other Taco Joints. I have been going for years and it’s been nothing but great folks. The one at Preston Center however was very rude. I asked for a grilled jalapeño and had to talk the girl into letting me have it even at a charge when it had never even been a question at the other locations. I tried to be very nice and thankful for her allowing me this luxury and she persisted to act like I was a burden she just needed to get out of the way. Happy Sunday to you too lady. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and it was not from the food. I will happily still visit the other locations but I will never return to Preston Center

The cream chicken enchiladas and beef tacos are a Mexican or Tex-Mex joke!! First and last time at this taco joint, it’s good for locals in the area that don’t have another place to compare to. Their food has no flavor at all, no seasoning, condiments or any thing to be called Mexican, Tex-Mex or taco!! I have to say that even Chipotle is much better for a quick Mexican bite.

Love the food here! That jalapeno ranch is the best! Great portions! I usually order the chicken fajita salad. Love the art work. It’s music related. The staff is very attentive and accommodating! Great place for a lunch group as the tables are spacious. Highly recommend. Juan and Garth were great! Thanks again!

I’ve had so many taco salads with ground beef and tomatillo sauce from here. I have to say the last 2 orders from the location at Preston center have been horrible! Last week it was a hangover lunch with eggs, beans, jalapeños etc. I asked for black beans instead of refried. Of course, I got the refried in this miss mash of a horrid meal. Today I ordered my usual taco salad with tomatillo sauce. Instead I got red HOT HOT sauce and a mushy horrible salad. I could barely make it through a 1/4th of this salad. It had no taste and the meat was mushy. What in the world has happened to you???

This might be my favorite place to eat tex-mex in Dallas. I work close by and I eat taco joint at least twice a week every week. The first time I came I wasn’t sure but as I kept coming back I always go for the special (whatever it is that day.) Today was pork enchiladas and the best part was that I got to meet the owner Corey. He looks like Ted Lasso and kind of sounds like him too. Super humble guy and super humble honest good food. That’s it. It’s not expensive, not a lot of frills, just fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this spot if Tex mex is what you need to hit your spot. I must recommend this place to my friends and co workers and customers like 40x a week. It’s good for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. I always come in the morning and get the lunch special. That probably throws them off because it’s breakfast time and I ask for lunch… but they always accommodate even though they often have to prepare sauces on the fly fresh that are meant to be served for lunch. They don’t make the big batch they make a small version just for me and that why I keep coming back because it’s that awesome and my #1 pick for Mexican Tex-mex in Texas. Also try the brisket nachos because it’s there specialty.
