My bestie and I stopped at taco kat downtown to see what all the hype was about. We just happened to be there on a Tuesday so we got some of their amazing deals! We grabbed one of each taco (a chicken and a beef), and also got there $2 margaritas. The margaritas were delicious and You could tell that they definitely had a kick! Our tacos were kind of average… but definitely worth $2! We then split an order of nachos and this is where it really took off for me! I love the texture of the chips!! We didn’t have meat on our nachos but didn’t miss it at all! The ingredients were fresh and amazing! We also love the service as it was very fast and organized! We’ll definitely be going back to see what the other side is like as we only visited the restaurant portion. 8/10

TACO KAT was an amazing drinking spot to hit today.. had 3 margaritas for $15 and was quite toasty after that… loved the service and my bar tender who was awesome….will be going back for more drinks and food next time

I LOVE THIS PLACE! They make everything fresh here so you’ll wait for your food but that’s ok. It will definitely be hot and fresh! The flavors are off the charts. The chicken is not overcooked and very flavorful. The prices are very reasonable and the vibe of the restaurant is chill. We will definitely be back!

Honestly I came here based on Tiktok videos and I was really disappointed. Price I give it 2/5 stars. Taste was just ok and good presentation, but very salty and very very small portion. You can get much better street tacos for half that price and double that portion. Service was very friendly but very slow. twenty minutes to get 5 tacos. Atmosphere was very dirty and very unpleasant to be around. 1/5 stars for atmosphere. After spending about $25 worth , we left very hungry. Wish them the best of luck but it’s not a place I would go back to. Unless you’re very very drunk on and you are desperate for a bite to eat.

Customer service was phenomenal. Def chicken taco is it at this place!! We had the burrito, which was good, but Taco was definitely better, and the cook gave us this salsa Verde, which was off the chain. We went to the club afterward; music was awesome, but I’m not much for Tequila, so that was a bummer. The place was very cool def will go back with our adult children.

I recently visited this casual street taco Mexican restaurant and was blown away by the authenticity of the tacos. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the vibe of the place was really inviting. The only downside was the price – the tacos were a bit on the expensive side for their size, but in my opinion, it was worth it for the level of authenticity. The drinks were also really tasty, but unfortunately they were a bit pricey as well. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s definitely one of the best casual Mexican places in the area (much better than Gringos Locos imo).

They have some more items coming soon but the current selection of tacos, quesadillas and elote are incredible.
