I’m from Southern California where Mexican food is as popular here as it is in Mexico. I was skeptical, but once I tried it, I was hooked! Best carnitas I’ve had in my life. It’s now a place I visit at least once when I travel to Anchorage, if not more than once. I’ve eaten there twice in one day!

Stayed overnight in Anchorage before a cruise. Needed a quick meal at 9pm. The facility was humble, but clean. The staff was very friendly and service was good. The food was better than expected for a late evening meal. Give them a try.

Had lunch and it was ok. Staff was friendly. I found the soup lacked richness so call it a weak broth. My fish tacos were okay but could have Benn brighter with better adders and the fish was not crispy just sort of soft cooked fish. Fast and cheap.

Although staff was not very friendly here they did have good food. I am celiac so have to be gluten free and that was a little tough to do here but I got the taco salad without the shell and it seemed fine.
