I know this is like an Alabama staple (being from Montgomery) but their food is so average and so expensive. I literally only come here for margaritas and munching on chips and queso/salsa/guac. I would never spend money on a meal here (maybe a kids meal). It’s so bland and boring. Margaritas are AMAZING so I wish all their locations just had better tasting food that’s worth the 20$ per entree price. I know people go for the vibes but I would love it more if the food was actually flavorful.

I waited about 10 mins to receive my order and the meat was ice cold. It was if the chicken was taken from the refrigerator. The taco’s were also missing lettuce and about halfway full, and the Queso looked and tasted old. Such a disappointing experience because I absolutely love Taco Mama!

We go out of our way every time we see a Taco Mama. I love the Auburn location with it’s close proximity to the University and downtown. My favorite items are to build my own burrito or nachos. And my favorite meat is the fried or grilled flounder. If you do not want to build your own, they do have both tacos and burritos on the menu to choose from. My wife loves the Mayor. Plus, almost all menu items come with a side. And of course, you have an array of margaritas and beers to choose from. Lastly, I have never been to a Taco Mama with anything by kind staff.This is definitely worth a stop if you love quality food at a a reasonable price.

Visiting family and needed lunch. I love gttn the nachos with EVERYTHING on them. Easily enough for 3-4 to share. It’s a must have everytime I go. My friends had the soft tacos and burrito. Both were more than enough food. Atmosphere was great. The cashier was knowledgeable and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and the line moved quickly. I’ll visit again!
