Had the Mayor taco combo. That was 2 chicken tacos and a side ( I chose refried beans) got one with flour tortilla and one corn. The chicken was tender and very delicious. It wasn’t dry, but was moist ( unlike mine at home! ) the refried beans were smooth and delicious. Chips and fresh salsa come also. The chips were thin and crispy, just like I prefer. Also ordered a blood orange margarita, which the nice person at the register recommended. She was spot on as it was excellent!

Shout out to the fellow foodie we met in line at Taco Mama in Daphne today! First time visiting the restaurant. The person we met told us they recommended the nachos and we could get all the toppings we wanted. The nachos was perfect to split and delicious! I loved the Houdini Frozen margarita too. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Worth the 20 minute wait in line. Kid friendly restaurant with inside & outside seating. By far the best Mexican food we’ve had here and we’ve tried all the popular ones!

My family and I eat at Taco Mama in Daphne seriously once every week. When my mom and stepdad come down, it’s our first stop! The food is always consistently good as well as the service! Today just was a different day where it was so amazing I felt the need to tell the manager it was 5STARS! I had my 11 month old and my 6 years old and everyone was just genuinely nice, patient, and kind! We already were going back, but I wanted others to know how amazing of an experience we had and how proud I am of this place (I have several former students who work here and they do amazing! And it’s always lovely to see them!) keep it up gang and the Hunts will be back next week! Thanks again!

Nice environment with outdoor seating. Food is excellent a lot of great topping options. They are always busy but never had bad service. A must try is the bloody orange margaritas when they are in season. (NOW)

Wanted to love it, but just did NOT. It reminded me of the food lines at a theme park eatery. We also ended up spending the same amount that we would have spent at a nicer table-service Mexican restaurant (including leaving a 10 tip during ordering!) – but the experience & overall value was subpar in comparison! My husband got a ‘Fat Boy Burrito’ and said it was basically loaded down with beans and only a few slivers of beef… his first bite was just a mouthful of beans. They put cilantro (which I hate and didn’t ask for) on my soft tacos. There were many other issues I had with this place too, but it’s not worth it to go into everything. Some people really do seem to love the place… Guess you just need to go and form your own opinion. But we were *99% unimpressed* and will not be returning. Staff was polite though. To each their own, but I say it’s way overpriced for what you get.

Service was not good. I told my husband I would text him my order while I went to the table. When he went to place our orders, he didn’t look at his phone because the server said she would go to the table and get my order. She never did until everyone got their food. I was so fed up that I went in and ordered the food by myself. My husband and his father ordered a burrito that was cold. They got their replacements before I got my food. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars the food was good (even after my husband and his father had the food warmed up).
