This was my first trip to Taco Mama, and boy, was I in for a treat!! I ordered the nachos with chicken. Toppings are unlimited, fresh, and abundant. These nachos aint for the faint at heart. They’re massive and so delicious!! The staff was excellent and super friendly. I sat outside on the patio it had stormed earlier, and the outside was nice and quiet!! The young ladies checked me quite often and made sure i was ok or needed anything even raised an umbrella up so that I could move to a covered table. I stayed at my table though the gester was very nice.

We’ve never visited any Taco mama so we decided to try it today and from start to finish it was AMAZING! We were greeted by destiny and she went over the menu quickly and friendly. She made sure to point out her favorites and the most popular options. We had tacos and the Mexican Mac n cheese and we loved it all. The staff was amazing and so helpful we made sure to tip well. Thank you again for the best first experience at your restaurant we will be returning!

Stopped by Taco Mama tonight for a to-go order. I must say the cashier was the friendliest I have possibly ever experienced. The staff was very bubbly and happy to be here and happy to serve! The food is always great. The to-go service was extremely easy and fast. I felt so welcomed. The staff just blew me away tonight!

It’s new to the area, and the lines have been consistent, but they move quickly. The food portions were more than enough, and the frozen margaritas were great. I decided to indulge in the pomegranate, and a friend tried the hodini(their spelling). The hodini tasted like the lime margarita, and they are the only margaritas that are frozen. The seating is indoor/outdoor, which is perfect! Especially on a good day.

First time at the Gardendale location and it was 10/10 for sure. Food was delicious and got out superrrr fast. Watermelon margarita was perfect and fresh. Outdoor seating was adorable & good music played the entire dinner.

We fell in love with Taco Mama’s as soon as we walked in. It reminded us of a beachy atmosphere. Open air dining, happy and friendly serve team. We felt like we were in a different time and place. Everything seems to be at a slower pace, just relaxed and comfortable. Seeing so many friends from church and many friends from around town was so peaceful and calming. The portions were plentiful, tasted great, and were filling. It is truly a top-notch dining experience. Welcome to Gardendale, Taco Mama’s! We dined right at lunchtime, and although there was a line to place our order, it moved quickly, and our food came just as quickly. Service with a smile doesn’t cover the attention I saw every customer receive. Happy employees create happy customers, and that’s what happens at Taco Mama’s. I could go on, but you need to experience Taco Mama’s for yourself,and soon!

We ordered takeout, but were not crazy about the food. It was the beef tacos and they were all smushed together in the container so that you could not pick them up. Perhaps something else from the menu would be better. The food was not bad, just nothing special. I gave it a four because the service and atmosphere was great.

When I heard we were getting a Taco Mama here I was SO EXCITED! We finally went Monday evening- it was SO GOOD! Friendly service, my favorite margaritas were perfect & the food was great! Loved the patio. Really happy to have this restaurant here! A wonderful addition to Gardendale !

My husband has had many opportunities to eat Taco Mama’s and loves it. Finally I was able to enjoy a meal at your new Gardendale location. It was so good and I loved the atmosphere. Of course I am a “taco” kinda girl so you don’t have to do alot to please me. It was so good.
