The Tortillas are hand made!! They are very good. The food was hot even after driving 8 miles home. The only disappointment were the locos. They were over fried. The workers were great at helping me with the menu. We will be going back!!

Since when did you start charging for sauce packets?? Just left this location. I asked for 1 sauce packet for my nachos and the girl at the window said she had to charge me for it. I only wanted 1…. I told her I was good on the sauce then and left. Seems sketchy to sell tacos but charge for 1 sauce packet.

Went in for lunch at 2 on Sunday. We were the only customers. The floor was absolutely filthy and most of the table were dirty. The water dispenser on the fountain drinks did not work. We ordered a taco salad which included a small cup with no more than a tablespoon of salsa. We asked for more salsa and was told there would be a charge. Really? We hadn’t eaten at a Taco Mayo for some time and was surprised how small the taco salad is now. So sad because we used to love Taco Mayo. I hope they can maintain their business but management will have to do some major changed.

This location used to be consistent and friendly, but last 2 visits were pretty bad. Long wait in drive thru, didn’t ask if I needed hot sauce, no napkins in the bag. Food was kinda warm, crispy taco shell cracked.

When I was working delivery I ate at the one in Harrah. It was great and I knew all of the employees. The reason I am writing this is to say open more restaurants in mid town OKC. Taco Bell is nasty, Taco Bueno is way too expensive for a small amount of food. You guys have great food at a great price. I am retired now and now that you have closed the store on Classen there is not a store that is close anymore.

Visited this restaurant for the first time after passing by countless times. Ordered at the drive thru and the gal that assisted was very nice and polite. I asked several questions about the menu items and she answered them all in full with courtesy. I ordered beef nachos and a bean burrito. She offered sauces so I asked for a couple of each one. The bill was very inexpensive and appeared to be a good value. We got home and I opened the nachos and tasted the nacho cheese sauce. Yuck!!!! Another canned watered down queso with no flavor. They placed some sour cream and a glob of what appears to be imposter pico de Gallo sauce. It also was flavorless. The chips were mushy and tasted stale and I ate about 3 bites and out it in the trash. See photos. The bean burrito was actually surprisingly! The tortilla was soft and appeared to be freshly made unlike the other places where the burritos shells almost snap. The beans were delicious and the sauce and cheese in the burrito was very good! So yes on the bean burrito and no on the nachos. Yes on the courtesy! I may go back and just order bean burritos!

I first met this Manager 36 years ago I was pregnant and visited in the late night hours loved the food and Chat Teresa would have with me about my young and scared self. I moved away and am back 22 years later and the food is just as wonderful and the store is just as clean. The employees are just as friendly and efficient. Nice to be back!!!
