A friend and I went to Taco Ole for Lunch. Located on the South side of Old 83, two blocks east of Glasscock. I noticed a buffet option was available once I was seated. I wasn’t all you can eat hungry so I chose to order from the menu. I already knew what I wanted without looking at the menu. My friend ordered a fajita Taco only, I ordered crispy beef tacos. We both ordered unsweet tea with lemon. Some of the best tea and served in a jumbo glass.

Food used to be delicious here, but this past week they do not have sanitary standards to the point that we found small roaches in our food. My sister found one in her pancakes and I found another one in my scrambled eggs. We were so disgusted and just left. Don’t know what is happening but this place is going down the hill. The city should audit them because that was plain disgusting.

Really good home style Mexican/ American style tasty foods. Many options for all taste buds & family. Sweet tea is fresh & flavorful. Home made tortillas, they serve Reg store bought corn tortillas unless you request the homemade corn tortillas which are way better. They have various daily specials for the office & blue collar workers.

Tonight I had a bad experience with this location and it’s the second and will be the last time I ever order from this establishment. I called an order around 7:50pm, a botana for two people for takeout and I kindly asked the lady on the phone if they could please make sure the meat was fresh because the last time I had ordered they gave me reheated meat, and it did not taste good. She said okay no worries I’ll go ahead and make sure to tell my manager so she can check. I said thank you, and I went by through the drive thru to pick it up. Even gave them a tip, just to come home and realize the meat was dry and charred. I’m pregnant and was sharing this meal with my two toddlers and I became so upset that I paid $50 for this poor quality meal so I ended up having to drive back to ask for a refund. I understand sometimes when restaurants are very busy things happen but they were definitely NOT busy, this is definitely poor food handling and laziness on their part to serve reheated dry meat. I was polite on the phone just to pick up a mediocre meal. Never again will I go to this location

This place is not big and fancy, but the food and staff are absolutely fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly and cheerful and even suggested what dish she felt would be to our liking. She hit a home run as far as I’m concerned. When I’m in town, this place will be my first stop. Prices are extremely reasonable.

I love coming here. Food is always excellent!The all you can eat is a bit on the expensive side. For (2) it’s about $45.00. It’s worth it.. they also have a nice menu, if you don’t want to have the buffet. I love getting the enchilada plate, it’s my favorite.

It was busy this day and our waitress wasn’t very attentive. The food was delicious. I had overstuffed ham, egg, and cheese tacos. The bread buffet is $9.99. If don’t pay cash, you get a surcharge added on to your bill.
