We really enjoyed Taco Rojas! I got an assortment of tacos, the carnitas was my favorite but the chorizo and Pollo were also good. Slight crisp on the Tortilla edges made them . Buyer beware, the burritos are HUGE, like feed 3 ppl huge, but well prepared! We dined in the afternoon and although I think there was only one server, we were taken care of with no problems! We will definitely be back!

This is a small restaurant owned by a family and run by family. They do a great job of taking care of customers. They have authentic Mexican dishes you might eat in some ones home in old Mexico. I have eaten TexMex throughout Texas and gourmet versions of Mexican or South American food and Tacos Rojas fits right in there. They have multiple stores and all the food is the same but each location has a different vibe. Find your favorite.

The worst dining experience I have had in years. The food was average at best, but not all restaurants are created equal. The issue came at checkout. We were changed $16.99 for a menu item that was priced at $14.99. My wife was told the horchata drink had free refills, but we were charged for the refill. I asked did the burrito “come with cheese” and was told yes, BUT there was a fee for that too. Lastly, what Tex/Mex restaurant charges for chips? LOL! This place nickle and dimes customers and covers it up by saying it is a language barrier. To the owners, tell your associates a 20% tip is not recorded for taxes but the little extra charges will be. They missed out on a nice tip.

I’m from Los Angeles and have a very special love of Hispanic and Mexican foods. I was so excited when I found the original location when I moved here 3 years ago and I am thrilled that they now have 4 locations. The one at Keagy Village is clean, easy to get in and out of, quick, and the staff is always kind, friendly and helpful.

An absolute hidden gem in Roanoke. We go to the location in Keagy Plaza, which is a bit small, but the food is so good. Always fresh. Wait staff and food is always quick. 10/10 I’d recommend this place.

Got some fajitas with no beans, no onions, just peppers, chicken and rice. Got home, and it was just chicken and tomato wedges. My husband’s dinner was cold. Our margaritas while waiting tasted more like rum punches…and i paid $60 to go home and basically recook my dinner myself..needless to say, it wasn’t a good experience this time.

First time here and ordered the tacos rojas. They were amazing. All of the flavor paired perfectly for an insanely good taco. Will for sure be coming back!
