Came in for a carne asada burrito and it was really good except for the guacamole inside it was not my favorite but it wasn’t terrible either. Besides that the food portion is decent to the cost ratio. Didn’t really spend much on a burrito and a large drink but overall food pricing is a 4 for me since I still have yet to try more options of food. I will be planning to come in for other Mexican famous dishes to see if they can match other Mexican restaurants nearby. Service was alright not much to it since the lady with glasses at the cash register was just monotone wasn’t bad at least she took my order and made sure it was right. I don’t expect much from the employee since it’s just a Mexican food shop but my default rating is a 4 star for Taco Salsa. The atmosphere is also a 4 since I liked the theme of the restaurant, I believe they made a good choice of the two different color chairs they have per table it really works well with the overall theme. I think they could utilize the bar table space a little more efficient since the corner bar table is taken up by regular chairs and table. Also wish there was a background music playing that would definitely help the atmosphere rating. Overall Taco Salsa is a good restaurant to come and enjoy a meal either by yourself or with a small group of friends and family. I would recommend this place until I come back and find something different. Good luck Taco Salsa

Consistently good food, especially their chilaquiles, mama mia, delicious. Fairly standard fare, Mexican food American style. What I like is that they are super super clean and consistent as far as the food goes. A good place to eat.

Taco Salsa is fantastic. The restaurant itself is super clean, and it’s obvious the owners take pride in their work. We ordered a fish taco combination plate, a veggie burrito, and an extra drink, which came out to ~$15. Everything was delicious – the fish tacos were huge, and unlike the normal fried versions, were grilled.

This was the place for quality Mexican food but it’s a joke. The carne asada burrito is the size of a Taco Bell burrito supreme. I think I’ll just stick with El Pollo Grill in Chula Vista.

Good food overall although I thought there was a bit too much refried beans in the chino chimichanga. Such a friendly cashier and casual vibe.

Love the food, prices, and customer service. They have usual specials which include select plates and drink from $5 to $6. They now have a veggie menu with $2 potato tacos! They even have a breakfast menu with pozole. So many great choices and THE best salsa in San Diego.
