I wanted to try something different I ordered a medium shredded beef burrito and thought okay this should be good, but the burrito was dry. The green chili and cheese in the burrito was just a touch of it. Was disappointed but I thought maybe I came on a bad day and this was back in December.

Anita’s shredded red pork burrito was so delicious. I didn’t bother with any other toppings and if there was an option to add any other fillings, I didn’t see it but it didn’t really matter as the shredded pork was so flavorful. It was so good, I ended up going back the next night and ordering it again. Definitely worth the trip.

I had the hamburger and fries, really delicious. Also tried the beef tacos and the carne adovada and very happy. Service is good and friendly. The price is right on the beef tacos and Carne adovada tacos.

The first time I ordered from here the burritos were good (pork, potatoes and red chili)good size for a large. Then I tried a different burrito (carne asada, beans, rice and cheese w/ pico) well that was bust, not enough asada meat and to much beans, some rice and cheese hardly any pico. Called back to let them know that the burrito had a few pieces of meat and was told that the meat is portioned out into cups and that’s how they determine how much meat is given. Well you decide (pictures posted) I was offered a replacement of an asada taco ‍♂️. This burrito is 10.00 for the large, is what I ordered but is was not that big. The food is good but I guess I kinda expected to be better ya know? More meat and less other ingredients because you pay a higher price. I hope it gets better.

Tacos were ok, no flavor though. Once again New Mexico; Mexican restaurant has let me down. If you’re going to run a Mexican restaurant I expect homemade beans and rice. Stop buying cans of beans from the store and selling them. What a ripoff. Beans and rice are the staple of Mexican food. When I open it and realize wow could have made this at home, that’s disappointing. Mushy and crunchy rice with a side of can beans from the store. Flavorless tacos. No heart at this taco shack. If you think this food is good, you have no tastebuds, or have never had good Mexican food.

Love the tacos from here… authentic Mecican street tacos in all flavors. We also tried the large burrito. Their not kidding when they day large. Both items tasted very good and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely eating here again.

$8 for a medium burrito…first time buying that off their menu. Extremely disappointed. Just a sprinkle of meat, and the rest was a filler of refried beans and rice. I understood the price if the burrito had some actual meat in it. That was a ripoff. Also they got my order wrong, didn’t realize til I was an hour away. Wouldn’t recommend as any of my top picks…

For the money they charge…I guess it’s OK. Street tacos are ok but the burritos I guess it depends on the type you order…I got the Carne asada burrito but it was nothing but rice and beans no meat. So I don’t think k I’d come back.

This place is old school greatness. It’s curbside service, like the Dog House in ABQ. The staff is super friendly and the chile is amazing.
