From burritos, tacos and enchiladas to tostadas, grinders, fried ice cream, and more, we have something for everyone. We are located in North Fargo and South Fargo for your convenience. We’re glad to state that we’ve been one of the longest-operating restaurants in the FM area. The original hot sauce and taco meat recipes served today are the same as they were nearly 60 years ago. The Taco Shop is a cheap eats eatery classic in Fargo. It’s a small local fast Mexican food type place. The food including larger entrees, like an enchilada,is all under 10 dollars. The food is good here it’s fresh and very clean place always good service I have always thought of it as good North Dakota Mexican food and nothing here, at least to my taste, is super spicy. I tend to order the same things here although their menu has breakfast burritos, grinders many different things. I like their tostada with cheese and I also had their Hawkeye taco named after FM Red Hawks Mascot. The food delish and fast friendly service. I like how crispy and fresh their hard shell tacos are. I love going here and happy with my visit every time— also it’s cheap.

Lady taking the order was incredibly rude. If you order more then one item she makes you feel bad for choosing there place to eat . When they take your card you get the biggest death stare you will ever receive. Get home to no meat I. The tacos and all good was cold. Quest was at least 2 days old ik I’m also a cook and was only half full. Taco johns just went out of business and this place is not far behind.Would not recommend

Usually we have a fantastic experience here, our most recent visit was totally different. We placed our order, and an employee sweeping and picking trash up in the lobby went back into the kitchen and began making food without changing gloves or washing their hands at all. Immediately asked for a refund.

Not a bad place to eat. Staff was friendly. But to charge $10.87 for a burrito and pop and the tortilla shell fell apart when eating and maybe had $2 worth of stuff in it wasn’t worth it.

I ordered a custom burrito with grilled steak and no olives. I asked the cook if it had olives, he confirmed it did so I asked if he can re make it without the olives. He was angry that he had to remake my burrito, so much so that he was throwing the ingredients together in such a bad mood. The lady had to step in and re make it herself. We also ordered a quesadilla and an enchilada. We did not get to enjoy our food because 1. Of the cooks bad attitude and 2. We kept finding hairs in each of our to go boxes. I would not recommend it, with service like this; there’s other establishments that put their service and kindness first.

Best quick taco in town. Hands down. The killer sauce is actually relatively spicy so for hotheads out there it’s a must. Taco Shop is a FM institution. Give them a try and you’ll be satisfied.
