I have visited the Taco Ssam location in the Culmore Shopping Center several times; so I was delighted to find this new location even closer to my house. The food and ambiance are awesome. They are becoming popular fast; so I am glad they have a much larger seating area than their other location. I enjoyed the spicy margarita and the tacos I ordered. My husband always enjoys their burritos. We love the fusion of Asian and Mexican flavors. The dumplings are delicious. My favorite tacos are Carne Asada, Barbacoa and Al Pastor; but I also enjoy the Bulgogi and Gal-Bee tacos. The full bar has a large selection and the artwork on the walls makes from a great atmosphere. This location is another great addition to this ever expanding shopping complex. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience! 🙂

Another hidden gem imo, place wasn’t packed, so we sat at the bar. Bartender took our drink order n drinks were on point. So many selections of top shelf liquor and not as expensive as other restaurants. Tacos were delicious as well!! Highly recommend. Also, the fried ice cream was great.

Great place for in door and offers outdoor patio. The bar selection in whiskey and tequila is the best in area. I had the chicken burrito and recommend to ask for a plate. Basket that it comes in is not going to work. Also the place is legit in menu options. Happy hour is 7 days a week (get this) 4 to 8 pm…all week people no place else offers this . I’m definitely coming back to enjoy the great food and bar experience.

First time visiting this location. Ordered the Bimibap. No protein options for vegetarians (besides the egg), and I added extra Kim chi, cause why not? This was “to-go”. Be aware that they add a 94 cent up charge for to-go, so take that in mind when you tip. The bowl had beets, carrots, spinach, rice, Kim chi, squash, cabbage and egg. Delicious and filling.

Got the Korean fusion tacos and they were AMAZING!! All the meats are very flavorful. Happy hour has two menus one is 50% off and 30% off. Drinks are ok, it’s a bit sweet. Highly recommend going for the Korean fusion tacos! Our waiter remembered all of our orders. Would definitely come again.

Tacos were fantastic and could be ordered individually. The Korean pork belly is excellent and worth a try. The tacos are made and delivered rather fast. Now the happy hour drink specials and whiskey / bourbon selection is amazing. There is Buffalo Trace, Blantons, Wellers, Eagle Rare and even Old Rip Van Winkle. The Bourbon Smash cocktail was awesome and the half price pours were great. Will definitely return for another happy hour.
