Maybe it was a bad night for Taco Star, who knows. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with rice and sour cream. Got home and took one bite. The beans were HEAVILY salted, it’s all I could taste was salt.

Made this account just to give this review. I went through the drive through and ordered a enchilada with beans and rice. I specifically asked for no veggies because that is how I like it. I love going to Taco Star for their chicken grilled tacos. You cannot get them better anywhere. So I can say that I have been to a lot of Taco Stars and this location is by far always the best. It tastes so fresh like your mother just made it and put it on the table. I would probably drive past other Taco Stars just to come to this one.

Went in with family who had come in from out of town to eat around 11pm at night. Drunk man came in ordered and then proceeded to get in our face and started threatening us because he heard us laughing about a joke somebody had said thinking we were laughing at him. Asked the person at the cash register to call the cops on the guy and they just looked at me as though it wasn’t their problem (probably because he ordered something) so we left instead. Used to eat here all the time but after tonight I will never give them my business again. Go here only if you want to get into drunken altercations!

The food was great, they tossed in a bunch of salsas without needing me to nag for. I had the bacon breakfast burrito and the carnitas plate. I recommend both, you get the most out of your buck and their portions are fantastic. Plus they’re open late which most places around the Springs aren’t

Stopped at this location for lunch today on a whim. I have been to a few of their locations around the Springs and they are consistently delicious. I usually get the carne asada tacos combination plate, or the carne asada fries (definitely big enough to share). Today I got the taco plate, I inhaled the first taco before I could get a photo, which is why there is only one pictured. Although the portions of beans and rice are smaller, they are very generous with the amount of meat in the tacos. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Had pork carnitas, carne asada, and fish tacos. Sell we’re delicious. We thought this place would be like Taco Bell, but it was real food! Legit Mexican food! Had vanilla churros as well that were worth ever calorie!
