First impressions….clean and easy menu. Not to much stuff. I smelt bug spray by the door. Food is not good. My husband ordered the green enchiladas; he scored them 5/10. My steak torta was not good. The sour cream tasted old. I gave my torta to my husband because he don’t throw away food. He gave it 5/10; I gave it 2/10.

Taco Stop had absolutely AMAZING food and staff members!! The women that work in front are so wholesome! Donate to their tip jar! They definitely deserve it. one of the women is collecting whatever coins they receive for tips and is using the funds to get a memorial tattoo for her sister. Having lost my sister as well, I definitely feel for her, and happily donated to the cause! ❤️

The restaurant is clean, staff is nice, but I have to dock it on its chorizo tacos, not sure what’s wrong with the meat but it had a play-doe or meat section of a store or however I may put it type of taste & smell. I don’t know what’s wrong but there was definitively something wrong with the meat or cooking process. The steak tacos were great along with the red sauce. Maybe I’ll give it another go in a year and see if the chorizo is better, but I can say it was definitely a deterrent to go and try more. With that being said 3 stars overall.

First time .very slow service although there are signs up. Once you get there. Had two tacos and one torta. Tacos prices decent, torta expensive. The tacos were good. The torta had the oldest, driest, worst carne. Worse than a taco truck at close. I didn’t eat much, as it was that bad.

Placed a $13 order for pick up through the website. When I arrived they refused to give me my food and told me there was nothing they could do. I suggested that they could give me the food I paid for. The lady just told me sorry. I was sort of dumbfounded I asked are you really gonna make me call my credit card company to reimburse me $13 and lose me as a customer. The lady again told me sorry there was nothing she could do. So I ended up calling CapitalOne and getting my $13 back. What a stupid way to do business, that you would try to steal $13 from a customer you’ve had for years. I find it humorous reading the other posts that the owner views the business as some sort of benefit to the community. This filthy little taco stand is an eye sore, even for South Milwaukee; offering mediocre food and subpar service.

Highly would not recommend this location. Food was undercooked ! Requested my money back and they told me NO! After 30 minutes of waiting to speak to the manager he said “NO, he would not speak to us because he was cooking.” Ask to speak to someone higher up and they called the business owner and she said to call the police to get me off the premises and not give my money back.

Tacos are really good meat was tender juicy first time having it. Ok second time I ordered a steak burrito and chicken quesadilla it was good but definitely needed more meat the rice I’m not a fan of Taste like minute rice but has flavor to it

Very small home style restaurant, but very Mexican. Authenticity is 100% here down to the jarritos drinks and sides. If u want Mexican food it’s worth a try. The quesadilla (large) I got was packed. I ate a little better than half and I was full. Jalapeno’s are really spicy. Place is just genuine Mexican food as much as you can get.
