Ordered 10 tacos for carry out. 5 barria and 5 barbacoa. When I got home there where only 4 tacos and one empty tortilla. I also asked for cheese and they did not add it. Meat was not cut up/shredded. Just a big chunk of meat in a taco. The Barria tacos has a ton of fat. The sauce was so greasy and watered down, there was no flavor. I will definitely not be back.

Decided to explore in waxahachie and came across this street taco place. It wasn’t bad, we enjoyed all the tacos and the fries with carne asada. It is an outdoor style seating and it was also pet friendly.

Just wow! I have been skipping this place for a long time and finally decided to roll through and grab a few things to try. Got the vampiro with barbacoa, mucho taco with pastor, and nacho taco with chicken. All were excellent. Also grabbed some Birria Ramen which was great. Favorite meat was pastor 2nd was chicken. Wasn’t a fan of the barbacoa was more like roast beef. That’s just a personal preference it was still good. But these three tacos are fantastic! Vampiro has melted cheese between the two red soft corn tortillas. Nacho has melted cheese between the hard and soft corn tortilla. The mucho has a whole roasted poblano in it. When I go back it’ll be a couple of vampiro pastor and a couple nacho taco chicken. And life will be good!

Don’t overlook this little treasure. Lady working the front was really personable. I tried the fried taco. The beef and barbacoa tacos were amazing. The green sauce was yummy. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The shell was crispy and not greasy. I had a bottled Coke made with sugar and not corn syrup. Next time I’ll try the elotes. It’s worth the drive and it was reasonably priced.

I paid $3 for a Birria taco that was super tiny compared to any other ones I’ve eaten. That’s overpriced if I’m being honest. I had no idea how big or small they were until I received them. However they were very good. I would not recommend getting the rice or the beans. The rice was dry and the beans looked old and even more dry.

I ordered the Carne asada tacos, pastor tacos and my wife ordered the taco platter. The tacos were good, the beans looked and tasted like they came out of a can, but my wife liked the rice.

Amazing place!! Absolutely loved the tacos and overall service! It’s a small but mighty place and honestly, taste better than most of the Mexican restaurants in the area! Definitely recommend this place 🙂 PS: Beware of that green sauce it definitely packs a punch!

This was our first time trying Taco Suave and we were really disappointed with both the service and food quality. We waited 35 minutes to receive the 8 tacos we ordered. We would absolutely understand the wait if it were busy but we were one of 4 families there. We also saw our box sitting on the counter for about 15 minutes before we got it. On top of that, we didn’t get all the tacos we paid for; we should have checked before we drove away. The flavor was fine, nothing great though, and we didn’t get any onion on our tacos. I’m not sure we will be going back, unfortunately.
