We love their tacos… “everyone” we’ve EVER had is full of meat lettuce tomatoes and cheese, sour cream if you’d like. You can’t say that about everywhere!! Their manager is going on 30 plus years there and makes sure they are consistent with everything they serve!

Lady in drive thru should teach other stores about friend n amazing customer service. Without seeing her at the order board you could feel the caring and smile behind the voice. She took the time to make sure our order was correct and even offered ideas of things to try. We were VERY impressed. Kudos to the lady that took our order.

When you get tired of food that served up in pouches and tubes and precooked and shipped thousands of miles to your local Taco Bell well then you should stop by Taco Time where ever since they began they’ve been cooking stuff fresh that’s right everything is fresh cooked on the spot I’ve been eating at Taco Time since I was a kid and their quality is not changed since the ’80s it’s always remained very high quality so give it a try and be sure to order the Mexican nuggets basically they are one of the best things on the menu

Went through the drive threw. The experience wasn’t the best. The crisp pinto bean and beef burritos were undercooked. The large Mexican fries were not what I would deem to be a large order. A bit disappointing. Overall I may go back, however, I won’t go out of my way to eat there again. Its no Taco Time like in WA. State.

We stopped at this Taco Time while visiting our son and daughter in law in Portland. Taco Time in Ames, Iowa was always one of our favorite fast food Mexican restaurants. We had been stopping there for over 45 years. Luckily our son told us Taco Time restaurants are common in the Pacific Northwest. We purchased two dozen crisp meat burritos to freeze and bring back to Des Moines. The burritos were as good as we remembered them being.
