OMG! This is the bomb for Detroit style pizza the crunchy crust… Drooling as I’m writing this! It’s better than I ever expected. They were pretyy busy and the service was still great. 2nd time here and mind still blown. For those of you who miss Northlake Pizza zesty sauce, it found it’s way to Tacoma Pie. Was a little nostalgic for a few minutes with that zesty sauce. Their house salad is large and delicious! They do have all kinds adult beverages but they also have diet coke. They have things ither than pizza that I will need to try but let me tell you that pizza is so great you may never venture past that. Yummmmm❣

Really good pizza, I like this deep dish no crust style. Very filling also. The guys are very friendly. My wife likes garlic butter with her pizza. They didn’t have any. But when he brought our pizza out, there was a ramekin. He had put in the oven with butter garlic then topped with grated Parmesan. It was very good.

I walked in with my kiddo yesterday out of curiosity and ordered a Vito to-go they asked if I wanted it sliced or not,( I guess it’s a deep dish thing so make sure you get it sliced if that’s what you want) anyways this pizza was worth the wait, I walked in expecting a wait since it was obviously packed with orders it did take about 30 minutes or so but man, those minutes were well spent.

Had a pizza with pepperoni, panchetta, greek olives, and pineapple amazing pizza would highly recommend. Manicotti was good, and the banana bread pudding with carmel sauce was amazing as well wilp definitely come back

Stopped here on a recommendation. Very friendly staff, probably the owners as they were passionate about the place like an hour would be. Straightforward menu and ordering process. Staff who served us gave the kids a little candy pizza treat. Very kind. We just got one pizza, make your own style and had pepperoni and mushroom. This style pizza is a cross between a few but most closely resembles Detroit-style imo. The crust is very similar to a focaccia. It’s baked well, seasoned well, and they do a good job of not putting the sauce all the way to the edge so the edges are crispy with cheese and crust and not charred with burned sauce. The edges were so crispy and tasty!

Tried these for the first time. I split the La Casa (add pepperoni of course) and the Pollo Fumoso. Wonderful pizza! Thick crust with and even thicker amount of toppings – it was loaded. The sauce was amazing, the ingredients fresh and delicious and the taste was delicious. The pizza was very filling. My new favorite pizza place. Definitely recommended!

I really enjoyed this spot. The staff was super cool and the pizza was really good. It was nice to have a different style pizza option (that’s not like anyone else) in Tacoma. If you’re craving pizza but tired of the same old styles of pizza give this place a try. Highly recommend

Epic Detroit style pizza!!! Absolutely a must try for anyone who enjoys Detroit deep dish style pizza. The pie was literally 4 pounds of deliciousness. Plan accordingly the pies take a while to cook. I believe they said 30 minutes minimum for pickup orders.

Ok, so I’m still getting used to paying 30 for a pie, but that seems pretty normal for the little ma and pa spots around town. Pizza is a deep dish and is pretty tasty. * second visit confirms, pie is great. My only complaint is the wierd vibe inside. But take out pie is 9/10 really good.

If you haven’t tried Tacoma Pie yet, this is your sign to do it. I’ve been here quite a few times since they’ve opened, and the pizza has consistently been made to perfection. They’re extremely generous with their toppings, which are all super high in quality. Don’t get me started on the dough… the cheesy crust is next level. I could go on, but you get the point. My favorites are the Maui and La Casa. Don’t forget to grab a bread pudding for dessert… trust me.
