All the servers were nice. The food was top notch. The best tacos I’ve had in New York. They are very authentic. Like the ones in Mexico City. Try their Gobernador tacos. You have to ask the servers to come over and take your order. The good thing is that they are all happy and get along so you feel happy being there. You’ll love it. Don’t miss this taste of Mexico in NYC.

Great little place for tacos and Authentic Mexican dishes. Super casual and there’s a nice space for outdoor seating. Great place for families and reasonable. Happy Hour 4-7 Monday -Friday. Good Margaritas available single or by the pitcher. There are a few around the city and some around the country too.

Good, family-friendly taqueria on the Upper West Side. Tacos are decent sized and flavorful. Our favorite is the beef birria that come as 2 with their own hot dipping sauce. The drinks are fun and tasty. The prices seem reasonable for individual items, and then the check comes and you’re like how’d it get that high? Their corn comes in a cup rather than on the cob – tasty but I much prefer on the cob with the Mexican cheese. I didn’t see much for someone trying to go low carb or salad-based.

I’m not a big fan of chains so I try to avoid them, but felt like going back to Tacombi and wasn’t disappointed. The fish tacos are great but the real gem is the avocado tostada.

The idea is very interesting as the main goal is to make you feel like you’re in a taqueria in Mexico. And to be honest they do a great job with the aesthetic, (chairs, tables etc) but that’s until the food comes to you. Totally mid experience when it comes to that, tacos we’re pretty overpriced for what you get which is a mostly dry taco that you have to drown in salsa (have to admit their salsa game was on point) for it to be acceptable. Expect to spend somewhere around $50, in my case 7 tacos, 2 quesadillas and 2 beers we’re about $100 with tip. My advice, save your money and go to Tacos el n°1, it’ll cost you $20 less for something significantly better.

The interior is colorful and vibrant. It is actually quite spacious for a New York City restaurant. The food is average. For the the appetizer, the corn esquites was fresh and crisp but the serving was small. Of the 3 tacos tried (al pastor, carnitas, pollo yucateca), the yucateca was the most flavorful probably because it was marinated. The others were slightly bland.

I’m so glad we finally got to check this place out. It is SO CUTE. The service was amazing and I loved being able to write my order on the menu. The food came out so quickly and everything was so tasty and authentic. The piña and hibiscus tea were SOO GOOD. But most importantly, the fish tacos. They are seriously next level they’re soooo delicious. The batter, the freshness of the fish, the crema! YUM. Definitely will be coming back.

It’s good! Pretty average tacos, good aguas frescas and good chips and guac. Nothing crazy novel, a little pricey for the quality but over all not a bad joint if you’re looking for accessible Mexican food.
