We drive in from San Bernardino just to eat at Tacos a Carbron! The best tacos in the East Los area! You cant beat the price or the food! Way better than king taco!

East Los Angeles has a long history of great street tacos. My favorite items here is the pork rib tacos, Al pastor and carne asada. The meats are cooked on an open grill with charcoal. The lines can be long during weekends and holidays or after a Dodgers game, 20-40 minutes wait is common. But, the food is worth definitely waiting for. After choosing the meats, there is a full salsa bar with variety of mild to fiery hot habanero sauce, cilantro, onion, cucumbers and sliced onions marinated in lime juice and orange habanero slices.

Tacos are pretty solid priced at 2.50 each and they stack it with lots of guac and other sauce. Their asada and pastor are delicious. They are also about to do other options like burritos, quesadilla, loader potatoes and etc. It can get pretty packed at night but they work fairly quickly.

Very Disappointed with this place. I ordered The Al pastor tacos and was given 3 tiny pieces of paper thin meat with no flavor, carne asada also no flavor and dry. The costillas were dry and others not cooked throughly. I asked if the Jamaica was homemade and they said yes. It was not. Most of all was there attitudes. Not pleasant

Social media made it seem like this place is the bomb and we couldn’t wait to go and try it. 4 hours drive and it was beyond horrible. STAY AWAY. We arrive and the line is a bit long. I thought to myself “This place is packed, it must be good”. Guess what? I was beyond wrong. Reality hit and the service is very bad. Workers were all over the place rushing and you don’t know who to order from. Food was not delicious and super greasy. You don’t know what you’re paying for either. They just bag it up and hit you with a price. I’d avoid this place at any costs and personally I ain’t coming back.

If you want a great experience with street Mexican food, and great people. This is the place! Don’t look any further, it is very safe, the people are so friendly and the food is out of this world.

Very tasty taco trunk known for their al pastor, chorizo, and bone in rib tacos. Tacos used to be 2usd each but recently I got three tacos and a coke (can) and the total came out to be 9usd.

Best street tacos I’ve ever had. Meats were barbecued over charcoal. Tortillas were freshly made and immediately cooked over a hot grill. Can’t ask for anything more for street tacos!

Fantastic tacos cooked over live charcoal fire, on delicious hand made tortillas. The asada is spot on, charcoal just gives a whole next level flavor to these!.

The hype over this place is only a hype. There is no flavor in the food. That’s just the start, no good customer service along with flavorless watered down spicy salsa. If you are someone that enjoys flavorless food and find comfort in pointless drives this just might be the place for you. The ribs had no flavor and were dry. Not worth it at all. Needless to say my grandma that has no tastebuds can make more flavorful food compared to this disappointing overhyped place.
