Great food.Great people. Gus and I shared with the owner, that it was our first time visiting Tacos and Papas, and owner approached us with the great taste of a cauliflower tacos. Which in fact had great taste and delicious. Recommend this place to either dine inside or take home. Tacos are well served with lots of meat and ingredients that make your mouth water and enjoy every bite. Thank you Miguel for suck a great experience with Tacos and Papas, you made us feel at home.

Ordered the shrimp taco plate. Serving was pretty large with three big tacos, rice and beans. Was a lot of food for one person, but tasted pretty good. Beans were a little dry, but otherwise pretty good. May have to order the tacos a la carte next time and pass on the rice and beans. They were also a little stingy with the salsa, but otherwise pretty tasty.

I was hesitant to order the street tacos, worried they wouldn’t fill me up but they had LOTS of meat, very filling! It came w tasty rice and beans too. (I’d order again.) Also, if you like spicy, ask for the secret habanero sauce, it’s delicious. Plate also comes w pickled onion, yum.

This little restaurant is fabulous and they have excellent food and good service, they are very friendly staffs and professional there and they knew our names and I like Alonzo and Jennifer, they are the best and friendly workers there and they bring your food to you instead of waiting for your No# to be called and Jennifer and Alonzo are genuine, polite and respectful and they only do thier jobs and don’t have time for others people’s drama and they enjoy thier jobs they do with passion and I suggest the wet burritos, natcho plates and all the menu’s are great and what is surprising is that Alonzo and Jennifer knows our names, me and Mrs. Santana and they even know if the movie knights or just walking around and the location is perfect for us and I miss the old school restaurant that have very friendly staffs and polite and walking in and they say hello and wanting to know thier customers and this is the place that brings back memories and warmth to the people’s of Monrovia CA and I am glad now me and Mrs. Santana lives here, God bless Alonzo and Jennifer.

First time but definitely coming back. The owners are great. The food is awesome. I had the french toast, one of the best I’ve had. The chilaquiles are delicious. The background music is nice. I have to get the ceviche next time. Check this place out.

Me and my daughter went as I was craving birria tacos, found it on Yelp. They are good… Had to ask for condiments and salsa. At a taco place it should be standard to get! Beans are tasty, rice is average. The shrimp tacos!!! OMG the best I have ever had… Will do that again for sure. The consomme for the birria is spicy… The cucumber pineapple aqua fresca was like a meal in a cup, very pulpy and bits of fruit and cucumber, horchata was good! I recommend…
