Tacos Barbon officially opened for business on May 16, 2020 as a local food truck in the city of Buckeye, AZ. We have recently expanded to our first brick and mortar location in Goodyear AZ inside the Holiday-Inn Hotel on N Dysart Rd & the I-10 freeway.
We are a family-owned business with the goal to provide our customers with authentic and scratch made Mexican food. We offer a selection of high quality char-grilled Mexican street tacos, quesadillas, nachos & keto-friendly caramelized cheese tacos with only the highest quality meats; Ribeye steak, grilled chicken, carne asada, Al Pastor pork and Mexican Birria. Saw this place on social media and decided I needed to give it a try. The seating area is very elegant and extremely clean. The decor is beautiful and it makes you feel like you are at a 5 star restaurant. The service was amazing and our server was very helpful and kind. Now the food part… it’s not great and it’s expensive. The birria is very dry and lacks taste. The carne asada fries lack the main ingredient, carne asada. Decided to try a ribeye taco and unfortunately it was cold, as if it was sitting in the refrigerator. The aguas frescas are not really frescas because they are extremely sweet. This restaurant has great potential.

8/8/23 1200hrs $67. Ordered their ribeye chicharrones, barbón platter, and ribeye tacos. Chased it down with a delicious agua fresca de piña. Friendly service, clean establishment. Food is amazingly fresh and seasoned to perfection! I suggest you stop and try for yourself.

Saw this place on social media and we went to give it a try. We got there and I let the hostess know she tells me there is a 20 minute wait. We wait more than 30 and another couple walks in and gets seated. I go ask another employee how much longer. She doesn’t see my name. So the previous hostess never wrote my name down so we can be seated.

We love this place.. the food is top notch! The bartender and staff were super friendly, they even showed me their grilling set up. We unfortunately had to take our food to go due to an unfortunate event at home but we are very satisfied with how everything was packaged to go and how everything tasted. We will definitely be going back there many more times.

Came by the hotel based on an Instagram post. We were surprised it was in the Holiday Inn. Food was good. We had the red taco and the Barbon. Both were really good. There were only 2 staff members and a full house. We waited a bit but the place was crowded. Shout out to the bartender this evening. All and all it was a pleasant experience but took a while to get the check.

1st time in and it was good. Had the birria tacos and the birria meat was delicious but the cheese amount in each taco was a tad overpowering. Tried the pastor and I like it but the husband said it need more sweet pineapple flavor. Ribeye taco was on point. Cooked to a perfect medium. Pineapple and cucumber frescas were so good and even better with the rim! Jailyne our server was great. She was very welcoming and thanked us for coming in!
